    Legal Counsel

     

    Our client, a reputable Law firm situated in Lagos is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to provide legal advice to clients in the areas of: 

    • Property and real estate law
    • Corporate finance
    • Capital market transactional work
    • Servicing Clients by meeting with them periodically
    • Preparing court processes as well as attending court
    • Providing written legal advice and Impromptu verbal
    • Drafting, Negotiating and Executing Contracts

    Educational Requirements

    • A minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) degree from a recognised University. (a second class upper degree will be an added advantage)
    • A minimum of Second Class Lower (2.2) degree from Law School (a second class upper degree will be an added advantage
    • Capable of analysing problems rigorously and from all angles, showing sound practical judgement as well as academic ability (essential)
    •   3-5 years post-graduation experience in same capacity

    Personal Assistant to the GMD

     

    Our client, The University of Lagos Holding Company (UNIHOLD) is a fully registered private limited liability company with several subsidiaries, including, University of Lagos Ventures Limited, University of Lagos Press & Bookshop Limited and the University of Lagos Pharmaceutical Limited.

    UNIHOLD is looking to recruit a PA for the office of the General Managing Director. The role of Personal Assistant to the GMD is to provide invaluable clerical and administrative support in order to assist and facilitate the efficient discharge of responsibilities attached to the office of the GMD.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provides a high level administrative support to the GMD in a proactive and effective manner.
    • Manages an efficient diary system which requires a need to understand and take account of complex and competing demands/priorities/important engagements.
    • Drafts and produces documents, briefing papers, presentations, and responses to correspondence received by the GMD.
    • Takes minutes of meetings as required and prepares summarized draft minutes for GMD. Follow up actions on the Pastorate behalf.
    • Works flexibly to support the GMD according to workload.
    • Arranges travel and accommodation
    • Manages and following up task lists
    • Takes and acts upon telephone messages
    • Any other duties as appropriate to the level of the post.
    • Works closely with the wider team to provide effective and flexible seamless support
    • Ensures both visitors and new team members are well taken care of.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • A first degree from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division
    • Minimum of four (4) years relevant post qualification experience with at least two years’ experience as a Personal Assistant to a Senior Management position
