    Safe Spaces Curriculum Development Specialist

    Scope of Work

        Develop a comprehensive Safe Space curriculum that will suit the learning objectives of the programme. The content should be robust, age appropriate, easy and fun to facilitate effective learning, interest as well as retention of girls throughout the program cycle.
        Develop a facilitator’s guide for the program that will complement the learning objectives of girls in safe spaces clubs. ·
        Contextualize key messages to ensure its relevance to the challenges of girls' in northern Nigeria.Sequence and phase the content to allow girls time to digest information and retain learning before moving on to the next topic
        Simplify learning methods and methodology for peer mentors.
        Adapt methodology and learning methods to age and preferences of target group (e.g. low literacy, girls with disabilities/ special needs) with special attention to interactive sessions which include but not limited to games, short fun activities, drama skits, discussions and stories).
