  • Lafam was established in 2008 with its Head office currently located in Ikoyi, Lagos State, Nigeria. The Company was incorporated into a private limited liability entity in 2013 (RC 1115976). LaFam is structured into various autonomous units with each unit functioning as an independent resource generating entity, and specializing in its field of practice.
    LaFam Limited operates both the Facility Management Division and the Travel and Tours Division.

    HEAD, TRAVELS AND TOURS

     

    Job Summary:
    Manage the entire units in the Travels & Tours Company, with focus on enhancement of quality standards and growth.  Arrange bookings and issues tickets; propose packages and partnerships related to travels and tours, reservation of tickets for the organisation.

    Primary Relationships:
    The position reports to the Chairman and Managing Director.
    Within the Organisation, the position has primary working relationships with the Managing Director, Head of Business Development , the entire staff of Travels and Tours and also the entire staff of the Business Development department.

    Job Description:

    • Delegate where necessary to sub-ordinates on swiftness, confirmation of reservation for passengers and sales of tickets for the organisation.
    • Developing strategies to increase Travels and Tours profitability and growth, attaining and exceeding Top management expectations.
    • Developing new business opportunities and contracts,  while maintaining and servicing existing clients and relationships.
    • In charge of all destination requests reported to you
    • Assists the Organisation in meeting sales and profit targets for the department.
    • Responsible for monitoring overall operations in the office such as; handling bookings, invoicing and issuing of tickets; checking tickets and other relevant documents, seat allocations and any special request by clientele regarding Travels & Tours.

    HEAD, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

     

    Job Summary:
    This position requires you to be at the heart of creatively driving marketing campaigns for a product or service of the organisation.

    Primary Relationships:
    The position reports to the Managing Director and Chairman.
    Within the Organisation, the position has primary working relationships with the Head FM, Head T & T, Acting Manager, Managing Director and Chairman.

    Job Description:

    • Organize and increase marketing strategies and output
    • Contribute to the project plan and preparation of checklists, research audiences.
    • Prepare partner-briefing packs prior to prospect appointments.
    • Identify trendsetting ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments to create network for prospect.
    • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
    • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
    • Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
    • Increasing clientele base and making sure that Potentials are maximized.
    • May need to give rough estimates to clients when need arises.

    Primary Relationships:
    The position reports to the Head of Business Development.
    Within the Organisation, the position has primary working relationships with the Executive Director, Group Manager, Head of Business Development, Administrative department and Staff of the Marketing departments.

    • Contribute to the project plan and preparation of checklists and research audiences as agreed with the Head of Business Development.
    • Prepare partner-briefing packs prior to prospect appointments.

    • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.

    DRIVER

     

    Job Summary:
    To provide secure and timely driving services to transport staff and goods of Lafam Group.
    Primary Relationships:
    The position reports to the Heads of Administration and Accounts and also the head driver.
    Within the Organisation, the position has primary working relationships with the Head Driver, Administrative department and staff of the Marketing department.
    Salary: Attractive salary package with benefits and bonus packages

    Job Description:

    • Provide transportation for Marketing team and employees of Lafam Group.
    • Ensure sound running of the vehicle(s) assigned and arrange minor repairs where necessary; and keep the service vehicles in very clean conditions both inside and outside.
    • Must maintain an excellent driving record; possess a valid Nigerian driving license with no more than two violations on the driving record at any given time; and must adhere to all traffic and road signs. Reckless driving shall be sufficient ground for a driver’s termination.
    • Must not at any point in time use the company’s vehicle(s) for personal activities.
    • Must always submit the receipts for the purchase of fuel and other works done on the company’s vehicle(s). However, any expenses incurred by the driver without prior approval and knowledge of the company, is not reimbursable.
    • During waiting time either inside or outside of the company’s premises, the driver shall always stop the engine and electric power of assigned vehicle(s) to save consumption of fuel.
