This purpose of this policy is to provide guidelines on how requests for Student Industrial Attachment would be treated by Nigerdock Nigeria Plc-PZE.
Key Aims
- There must be a request from signed by an approving authority of the candidate’s school requesting Nigerdock to provide an internship programme for the candidate within a certain period of time.
- The prospective Industrial Attachment candidate must be reside within the Lagos metropolis.
- The number of IT students within the organization must not be more than 10 at any given point of time.
- Any candidate coming in for Industrial Attachment purposes will not be housed in the Nigerdock accommodation permises.
- There shall be no extension of the programmed or offer of employment at the expiration of the IT tenure.
- Where a candidate is deemed fit to be offered an appointment at the expiration of his/her IT, an approval must be sought from the Managing Director through the HR department. Such a candidate must still go through the Nigerdock recruitment and assessment process.
- The Company will pay an allowance at the approved rate to the candidate at the end of every month served.
- IT candidates will be required to work Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm with one hour break period during the course of the working day.
- An IT candidate is not entitled to overtime and weekend/public holiday work or pay.

- The position needs to assist in the progress tracking of project
- Deliverables, supporting ND’s project work-scope for the oil and gas industry. Additionally the role acts as a Technical Clerk
Key aims and objectives
- Assist the production of planning and cost deliverables in accordance with the project
- timetable from engineering,procurement,fabrication,construction,pre-commissioning and commissioning data.
- Assist in the assembly of progress tracking data deliverables by early engagement with the project teams and physical measure of the work-scope to suit progress reporting within measurement targets.
Prime responsibilities and duties
- Assists in the assembly of planning and cost deliverables according to the project timetable from engineering,procurement,fabrication,construction,pre-commissioning and commissioning data.
- Understand project documentation thus ensuring compliance with the scope of work and reflect in planning and cost progress reporting deliverables. Act as a technical clerk in correlation of data and production of technical data as instructed by the project.
- Assist in the assembly and production of project reporting deliverables within project teams as assigned.

ERP Business and Technical Analyst(s)
Purpose / Role
This role has two primary functions – to manage the support of the ERP system, assisted by functional and technical analysts and to act as the Lead Financial Business Analyst. The role would suit someone with a background as a Finance Manager or equivalent who has a strong interest in business software and developing a career in this area. The person should ideally have an accounting qualification (ACCA or CPA).
No specific software or IT skills are required, however, experience in using a tier one or two ERP system is required along with a good understanding of ERP best practices. The ability to write SQL queries would be beneficial, to aid in the analysis of issues and the development of reports.
Key aims and objectives
- Manage the ERP support team
- Ensure that ERP support issues are resolved promptly with effective communication to end users on resolution issues and timescales
- Ensure that changes in the ERP system configuration follow the correct change management process
- Ensure that unresolved issues are escalated to vendors and the Head of IM promptly and followed up until resolved.
- Ensure that master data is updated promptly upon request and that data is audited regularly
- Work closely with the Financial Director, Financial Controllers and members of the Finance department to ensure that the system is working effectively and recommend areas for improvement.
