Overview: Responsible for preparing a complete deepwater drilling program/procedure

Experience:

• - Looking for 10 – 20+ years’ experience. Preferred with major operator.
• - Knowledge of the following subsea services:

(1) Vertical XTs and Horizontal XTs,
(2) IWOCS and tree installation equipment,
(3) XT installation from rig and DSV,
(4) Tubing Hanger installation and associated equipment,
(5) Intervention Landing String operations – EH Deep-water systems,
(6) ROV tooling and operations
(7) Wellhead installation including casing hangers and associated tooling

Job Objective/Purpose of Job:
Responsible for the development of appropriate procedures and policies for the management of all aspects of efficient and safe marine vessel operations at Terminals, surrounding production facilities, Drilling rigs, Barges and other Marine equipment on hire to the company.

Location: Both offshore Nigeria and Lagos

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Professional Qualification: Class 1 (Master Mariner) Certificate of Competency
• DCE (Dangerous Cargo Endorsement) Petroleum preferred.
• Experience: At least 5 years experience as a Ships Captain, Marine Supt or Mooring/Loading Master. Oil & Gas terminal experience preferred. Previous FPSO experience desirable.

KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
Functional/ Technical:
Knowledge of:
1. Industry standards (MARPOL, SOLAS, ISSGOT, OCIMF etc) and their usage within the Company’s operations
2. Mooring, Unmooring, Loading processes and procedures

Managerial:
1. Excellent people leadership and communication skills, including commitment knowledge transfer
2. Ability to build relationships with, and effectively challenge third parties.
3. Ability to represent the Company in marine
