    AC Electrician

    The Senior A/C Electrician is responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs on BINL vessels and to assist other BOURBON affiliates vessels as required by his line of Management.
     
    In order to achieve this you will be in charge of the following: 
    • Inventory of A/C material and spare parts.
    • Request order/purchase of A/C material
    • Carry out maintenance on vessels at the base and on the dry dock
    • Repairing deficient parts (compressor / Condensor etc.)
    • Team leader for A/C Technician
    • Developing and training subordinate/s
     This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.
    Key skills & Competencies
    • Knowledge and experience of A/C’s in the marine industry
    • Resourceful and resilient to stress in a fast-paced environment
    Experience
     
    At least 3 years working in a similar role in the Marine industry
     
    Education
     
    Formal qualification as A/C Electrician
     
    Contract
    Rotational position, based in Nigeria (90 days on / 30 days off)

    The Referent Captain is responsible and accountable for improving the competency level of seafarers. Your mission is to implement effective methods to educate and enhance the performance of seafarers through on-board visits and other training programmes. This will in turn develop highly trained seafarers.
      
    In order to achieve this you will be in charge of the following: 
    • Identify Training Needs
    • Conduct essential trainings onboard
    • Provide support to Department Managers in responding to training requirement by clients
    • Keep informed on legislation impacting the company’s training obligations
    • Monitoring training record of shipboard personnel to ensure that they are updated
    • To upkeep and maintain BINL equipment
    • Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials
    • Conduct appraisals of bridge officers during operations
    • Assist with briefing crews before departures
    • Conducts sea trials after maintenance 
    This position will report to the Operations Manager.

    Anchor Handling and Towing experience in deep water
