    SALES DIRECTOR

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and develop the Sales team to support sales strategies and to deliver profitable sales growth.
    • Recommend, obtain approval and implement any changes needed to align the sales organization with overall business strategy.
    • Assess sales staff to ensure effective leadership, and appropriate staffing, structure, skill sets and training to meet aggressive sales goals and evolving business needs.
    • Create and sustain effective collaborative partnerships with key Channel Partners.
    • Assess strengths and weaknesses of Sales Channel Partners, rehabilitating and/or upgrading where
    • appropriate and filling vacancies in key growth markets in support of global expansion plans.
    • Determine and implement the most appropriate sales market structures to achieve revenue goals, secure new business opportunities and win customers.
    • Complete thorough market analysis to improve product positioning and to increase the effectiveness of the sales team.
    • Work with Human Resources to develop and implement innovative incentive programs which align individual and sales team compensation with goals and objectives.
    • Track, manage and communicate sales forecasts and results by salesperson and distributor.
    • Develop and implement reseller agreements, distribution strategies and other sales opportunities.
    • Conduct performance analysis on existing products with a view to identifying and monitoring market trends.
    • Provide strategic direction for the overall operations of various sales units to achieve business plans.
    • Advise management on sales directions, competitors and market trends, including technology trends.

    General Qualifications, Experience, Attributes & Skills Required 

    • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering or any other related field.
    • An MBA will be an added advantage.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Excellent organisational skills.
    • Strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills.
    • For Head, Human Resources, minimum of 15 years cognate experience and 5+ years as Head of Human Resources in a renowned organisation.
    • For Sales Director, minimum of 10 years direct Sales experience, 5+ years sales management experience and 5+ years of independent distribution management experience, preferably in FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Banking and/or Telecommunications industry. Appreciable experience in enterprise sales will be required.

    HEAD - HUMAN RESOURCES

    Responsibilities

    • Development of an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, team-work and high performance.
    • Implement HR policies and programs as required by the business.
    • Ensure job descriptions for all positions are accurate and up-to-date,     .
    • Create organizational development and employee training programs.
    • Conduct performance reviews with departmental managers, and monitor employee productivity,
    • attitudes and performance results.
    • Provide assistance with implementing any HR related software systems.    
    • Recruit and retain top quality staff for each department; conducts interviews.
    • Employee counseling services for personal issues and company complaints.
    • Build a Quality Assurance Program that is tied to performance review. 
    • Create compensation plans and provide administration for employee benefits.
    • Maintain excellent facilities, conducive for enhancing employee productivity.
    • Provide company-wide communications and manage social committees.
    • Develop a code of conduct requiring professional behavior at all times.
