    Business Development Analyst

    Job Description:

        Software Business Solution Consulting is a boutique, minority-owned business and technology consulting firm, recognized for delivering exceptional value and actionable results.     Position Summary

        The Business Development Analyst works to improve an organization's market position and achieves financial growth.
        This person defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
        In this role the candidate will be tasked primarily with securing growth opportunities for SBSC products and services across West Africa.
        Selected candidate must be a strategic and critical thinker with the great sales capabilities and executive presence to engage at the highest levels of client organizations.

    Key Responsibilities
    This role comprises of marketing, sales, research and project management activities to reach targets.

    Marketing and Sales:

        Using researched knowledge of the market data and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators to secure strategic sales opportunity across the region.
        Responsible for managing the sales team, developing a business plan covering sales, revenue, and expense controls, meeting agreed targets, and promoting the organization's presence throughout the region.
        Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems wherever possible, and consulting with senior executives on maximizing business relationships and creating an environment where the SBSC brand can flourish.
        Responsible for monitoring the performance of the sales team by establishing a system of reports and communications involving sales reports, cyclical sales meetings, sales newsletters and electronic bulletins.
        Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
        Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
        Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

    Research and Project Management:

        Complete market research projects as designated by the manager.
        Actively own and manage sales targets and that of team members to ensure they are met timeously.
        Prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
        Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
        Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets.
        Own projects from sale to post implementation and work through the entire project management phase.
        Present business development training and mentoring to business developers and other internal staff. This includes developing a thorough understanding of the company's people and capabilities. Understand the company's goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance the company's performance.

    Essential Skills and Responsibilities

        Bachelor's degree in any related field preferably healthcare.
        Ideally 3+ years of experience
        Solution selling and marketing experience
        Experience with working in the health industry, clinical data and research is preferred
        Experience in building customer solutions through technical argumentation customer differentiation, positioning and value propositions
        High technical & business acumen to lead critical relationships
        Ability to work collaboratively across organizations and stakeholders to drive results
        Out of the box thinking to drive innovative solutions to business issues
        Comfortable working in a dynamic and diverse environment and taking initiative
        Coaching and Mentoring skills
        Ability to work flexible working hours - Demonstrated ability to balance workload under short deadlines and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
        Ability to make independent decisions with minimal oversight, a self-starter who can think ahead and plan for all scenarios
        Good communication and presentation skills

    Location

        Employee will be based in West Africa with the responsibility of supporting business across the African region. This roles requires varied amounts of travel globally.
        The employee is required to adhere to all company policies and code of conduct. This role may require other activities when necessary.

    Business Development Intern

    Position Summary
        To support the Business Development Team on the delivery of services and products to existing and potential clients and contribute to the planning, co-ordination and delivery of Business Development activity.
        Drive team’s competitive edge by providing additional support in the creation of client proposals and proto-types. Candidate must be able to multi-task, supporting the team through multiple initiatives.

    Key Responsibilities
    This role comprises of marketing, sales, research, project management and support activities to reach targets. Candidate will be based in Nigeria.

    Marketing & Sales, Research and Project Management

        Using researched knowledge of the market data and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators to secure strategic sales opportunity across the region.
        Complete market research projects as designated by the manager.
        Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
        Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
        Support processes to ensure smooth Go –To-Market phase of SBSC in Africa.
        Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
        Prospect potential clients not currently doing business with the company in our target market by visiting business networking events to assess opportunities, gather data and make recommendations.
        Own projects from sale to post implementation and work through the entire project management phase.
        Attend sales training sessions to develop sales skills.
        Graphic Designing & Additional Support
        Provide graphic design support for projects and presentations.
        Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs.
        Provide graphics resources for marketing purposes.
        Support all digital marketing initiatives.
        Support all branding initiatives.
        Support clients for OMP integration.
        Work closely with Technical Team Lead to establish and document technical requirements on all engagements.
        Devises possible solutions to anticipated problems.

    Educational Qualification
        B.Sc. Computer Science or Management Information Science or any related field.
        Minimum of a years’ experience in the above skill set.
        Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign ,CorelDraw
        Solution selling and marketing experience
        Experience in building customer business cases, technical argumentation, differentiation, positioning and value propositions
        Ability to work collaboratively across organisations and stakeholders to drive
        Out of the box thinking to drive innovative solutions to business issues.
        Ability to make independent decisions with minimal oversight, a self-starter and highly target driven individual.
        Experience in building customer solutions and technical argumentation
        Good communication and presentation skills.
        The employee is required to adhere to all company policies and code of conduct. This role may require other activities when necessary.
