UI / UX Engineer at Strivo Labs

About the Role

• We are looking for a passionate UI/UX Engineer to design and implement engaging, user-friendly interfaces across our digital platforms.
• You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to transform user needs into elegant, scalable, and intuitive solutions.
• The role requires a blend of design sensitivity and front-end engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Implement responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect user interfaces using modern web/mobile technologies.
• Ensure consistent brand identity and design systems across all products.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and flows.
• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data-driven experiences.
• Stay updated on emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies.
• Contribute to and maintain a scalable design system and component library.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design and front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision).
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and usability principles.
• Experience with version control (Git) and agile development practices.
• Strong portfolio showcasing web/mobile applications with focus on usability and design execution.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with animation libraries and micro-interactions (e.g., Framer Motion, Lottie).
• Familiarity with user research methods and A/B testing.
• Knowledge of design tokens and component-driven UI development (e.g., Storybook).
• Experience working in fintech/e-commerce/enterprise SaaS would be an advantage:
