    Trade Marketing Manager (Health, Hygiene and Home Products)

    Reports to position title: Marketing Director

    Description

    • We are urgently looking to hire a Trade Marketing Manager (Health, Hygiene and Home Products), who will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing programs which aims at generating interests, engagements and demand for company’s product in the trade channels - (wholesale, retail and distributor).

    Job Specification

    • Partner with Sales & Marketing teams to create and implement strategies to drive the sales pipeline and meet revenue goals, for target geographies across Nigeria
    • Create integrated Trade (Channel) marketing programs utilizing local market insights and sales input to ensure relevance in key geographies, to maximize sell-through
    • Be the expert in Trade (Channel) Marketing strategy development and effective execution to timelines
    • Directly engage with external Partner (customer) Accounts, to build long-term relationships, across retail, online, and B2B (wholesale and distributor) business
    • Connect with Marketing team to support key projects including events, promotional activities and trade shows as required
    • Collaborate with and oversee the work of external agencies providing clear design briefs and optimising all projects
    • Input to competitor analysis by understanding competitor activity by trade segment and sharing this with relevant Market and Competitive Intelligence team.
    • Analyzes for the key distribution channels what kind of shoppers visit them and recommends what the in-store marketing implication for us should be.
    • Have an update knowledge on all the margins being made by competitors and actual reality in-store inside out.

    Person Specification

    • Gradate or Post graduate qualification in Social Sciences
    • 3-7 years of work experience in a consumer goods environment, ideally with some experience in FMCG & Pharma industry
    • Trade or Customer Marketing experience preferably in FMCG industry
    • Understanding of retail & wholesale trade
    • Commercial thinking to inform trade opportunities and investment choices.
