Role in Summary

• Oversees all accounting & tax activities of the company.

Main Duties

• Supervise and manage the A/R, A/P and GL Accounts postings of the Payable Accountant, Receivable Accountant & other Accountants on a timely basis.
• Supervision of Inventory activities— Inventory Receipts, Issues, Stock count, Costing of Stock items and posting of activities into the GL Accounts.
• Management of month-end closing of the A/R, A/P and all GL accounts.
• Monitoring daily/weekly financial activities and monthly Accounts Reconciliation (Bank Accounts, Customers Accounts, Vendors Accounts and other GL Accounts)
• Supervise postings and remittances of the various Tax obligations—WHT, VAT, PAYE, Staff Pensions, others.
• Actively participate in the Monthly, Quarterly and Annual preparation of Financial/Management Accounts and other Financial Performance Reports.
• Actively participate in the annual Statutory Financial Audit and other Regulatory Audits.
• Supervision of the Accounts Reconciliation of Paystack and other payment gateway institutions.
• Assist in relationship management with Tax and other regulatory agencies
• Assist in relationship management with the Statutory Auditors and other consultants
• Actively participate in the financial and overall business improvement processes and procedures.
• Provides leadership: mentors & trains the Junior Accounts Personnel.
• Any other Tasks as may be assigned to you by the Management from time to time.

Qualifications

• Academic Qualification: Degree holder in Accounting from reputable higher institution.
• Professional certification from recognised Accounting Bodies such as ICAN, ACCA etc.

Experience:

• Must have 6 - 10 years cognate experience in a similar position from reputable big organization.

• We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer/Architect to help in the architecting and development of cutting-edge Enterprise Grade APIs and web/mobile applications.
• You must be willing to learn about the customer environment, product, product journeys and workflows with a focus on developing API that drive the Ecosystem Enablement and the monetization of APIs.
• The Candidate should have experience in or at least have the willingness to learn more about API Market places, SaaS, API Developer Portals, API Gateways/Exchange, System/Application/Experience Level APIs, Financial infrastructure, Payments Services, Digital Wallet and Telco services.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Five (5) years of experience building production-quality software infrastructure with experience in building financial applications.
• Fluency in back-end object-oriented design languages including Java, NodeJS with experience in Python, Go, Ruby, NPM, AdonisJS Framework, Sentry, Typescript etc.
• Experience developing web and platform using VueJS and React, jQuery, or other Web frameworks. Strong in HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, ReactJS framework, Vanilla JavaScript, XML, AJAX, JSON skills & solid programming background in other web technologies.
• Experience with MySQL databases such as OracleSQL, PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Elastic Search with strong understanding of web servers (e.g Apache, Nginx, Log Management Systems).
• Experience in iimplementing APIs based on both JSON and SOAP-XML.

• Installation of telecommunications cabling and equipment
• Installation, relocation and removal of tower mounted equipment
• Working at heights on a range of telecommunications structures including poles, towers and masts to install antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment
• Erection and fixing of steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment
• Termination of telecommunications cables of various types and sizes
• Testing of cables for compliance with specifications
• Working with cranes, cherry pickers and MEWP’s as required carrying out works on site

Requirements
