    Regional Security Manager-West Region

    Job Description

    • To effectively handle all security operational activities, liaise and manage relations with government security agencies, we also interface with Government Regulatory Agencies i.e. LGAS and State Govts, work permit community activities and contractors in order to minimize disruptions and ensure continuity of business operations in the region to effectively manage the Security Operations and Administration in the entire West Regions of the country, by developing the framework for supervising the various Security Service Providers and equally coordinating the activities of the Regional Security Specialists in the Region.

    Responsibilities

    Ensure effective liaison and Relationship with community leader and regional indigenes and residents in the entire Region:

    • Serves as primary security contact in the Region and ensure adequate planning and provision of resources for appropriate security initiatives.
    • Anticipate and meet the challenges/needs of Airtel Networks stakeholders, including employees, contractors, communities, partners and service companies; manage security service delivery with internal business groups.
    • Works with Business Groups to prepare security strategy and ensure most cost-effective service delivery. Communicate security issues and initiatives to business Groups and key stakeholders in a timely manner. Proactively work with Government Agencies, including Police and Military to define and clarify roles, responsibilities and ensure that these Agencies’ actions are consistent with Airtel Networks standards.
    •  Effective and efficient supervision of Security Service Providers in the Region. 
    • Ensure smooth communication and cordial relationship between company and host landlords, leaders and council of elders.
    • Address community relation issues arising from time to time with communities hosting operational and proposed sites.
    • Periodically survey host communities for the purpose of intelligence gathering and identifying relevant interest groups and principal personalities within such groups. 
    • Sensitize host communities of company’s social development programs and its potential benefits to the communities

    Motivate and manage Security resources at the region to ensure safety and security of Airtel's assets and machinery:

    • Prioritizes the allocation of security resources to high-risk, high impact issues.
    • Proactive and holistic enhancement of security across the Region.
    • Overall responsibility for the Security Infrastructures in the Region.
    • Coordinate Security operational activities at the region to ensure constant presence of guards at Airtel's locations.
    • Oversee and supervise site-specific security procedures within the region.
    • Performance evaluation for the various security service providers within the region.
    • Regular interface between central security and the region.

    Effective and proactive Claims and Liabilities Management:

    • Crisis management and planning.
    • Builds relationship with business Groups, identify and anticipate their needs. 
    • Generate periodic reports and maintain database of past, current and potential community issues, threats, demands and activities.
    • Identifying and advising on potential claim and liabilities and taking pre-emptive action to avoid such claims or liabilities.

    Qualifications

    • 10 – 12 years post qualification experience in the various areas of Security Profession with a specialization in Operations, Intelligence and Surveillance, among others.
    • Previous experience /membership of the Nigerian Police Force or any arm of the Military or State Security Service is highly essential.
    • Membership of both Local and International Security Association is compulsory.
    • Excellent and effective written and oral communication, as well as presentation skills.
    • Must be a team player, confident, consistent and decisive in resolving security issues.
    • Must be loyal and highly committed to achieving Organization objectives and equally be willing to work at odd hours.
    • Ability to adapting a rapidly changing business setting and excel in a collaborative team environment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in any of the humanities (Legal background will be an added advantage).
    • Possession of a post Graduate Degree will be an added advantage.

    Lead, Talent Acquisition

    Job Description

    • Overall responsibility for Airtel Nigeria manpower planning process of attraction and retention of best-fit talents in line with Airtel’s Human Resources and Talent Management Strategy in order to equip the organization with high caliber talents that will drive and achieve current and future Airtel Nigeria objectives.

    Responsibilities

    Effective Implementation of talent sourcing strategies:

    • Assist in the development of a recruitment strategy. This may include utilizing the best-fit communication and recruitment channels for various cadres of roles, Talent Planning etc.
    • Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including initial assessments, interviews.
    • Use social media, job boards, Internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs. 
    • Work with internal teams and hiring managers to assist with recruitment efforts.
    • Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization.
    • Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; develop talent pool.

    • Develop and manage relationships with third party recruitment agencies.
    • Ensure effectiveness of e-recruitment portal.

    • Effective relationship management with educational and professional institutions, recruitment and placement agencies.
    • Liaise with National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and academic/professional institutions to ensure Airtel Nigeria is positioned as an employer of choice.

    World Class On-Boarding Program for new appointees:

    • Facilitate Airtel Nigeria Induction program.
    •  Co-ordinate resource requirement for new appointees.

    Recruitment OPEX optimization:

    • Implement the most cost-effective recruitment channels for various roles • Continuously monitor recruitment OPEX and productivity margin.

    Talent Competency Assessment:

    • Coordinate the deployment of competency based assessment tools (e.g. Assessment Centre, Occupational Personality Questionnaire) for internal and external recruitment.

    Qualifications

    • Must have at least 5-8 years of comprehensive recruiting experience with demonstrated experience in high volume recruiting.
    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field required.
    • A professional qualification of CIPMN, CIPD, SHRM.
    • Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting process.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, and general human resources policies and procedures.
    • Demonstrated track record in varied recruiting process improvement methodologies is preferred.

    High Value Relationship Manager

    Job Description

    • One of the aspirations that Airtel Africa has set for itself is to be the preferred service provider for the Airtel High Value Base.
    • This person is the primary contact person and will be responsible in servicing all aspects of  the HV customer needs for the Pre-paid and Post-paid high value customers – VIP, Diamond & Platinum
    • The RM is customer centric and focused on maintaining high-quality of customer service; develops strong  relationshipps with high value customers to ensure sensitivity to their needs, concerns, and emerging  requirements and is readily available to attend to pressing customer challenges at any point in time. Delivery of business KPIs like financials, customer experience, revenue generation and process compliance, is critical to  this role.

    Responsibilities

    Diamond Customer Management:

    • Resolution of all allocated Diamond customer issues resolution within approved SLA (FTRs & escalations included).
    • Provide advisory services to all allocated Diamond customers as concerns telecoms.
    •  Maintain minimal Inactivity/Churn levels within allocated Diamond customer base.
    •  Engage customers in health checks, cross and up selling activities.
    • Must be a one stop shop for everything Airtel to the Diamond customer.
    •  Must be the preferred interaction point for the Diamond customer with Airtel.
    •  Provide inisights and VOC to the business on Diamond customer activities.

    Premier Customer Complaint Management:

    • Log/Track all Premier customer complaints and enquiries to ensure closure and proper documentation.
    • Ensure every premier customer is communicated to on receipt of issue within specified timelines.
    • Resolution of all Premier customer complaints within SLA.
    • Close looping of all Premier customer complaints within SLA of resolution.
    • Maintaining tracker to provide MIS on all Premier customer complaints and closures.

    Premier customer inactivity management:

    • Daily health check on assigned customers.
    • Visits to a specific Premier customer per quarter.
    • Daily inactivity tracking of >2 days customers.
    • Alerting Premier customers to new or improved products and services.
    • Communicating promotions and changes to customers in a timely way.

    Premier Customer Engagement:

    • Implement one DYK campaign monthly to assigned premier customers.
    • 100% onboarding of new Diamond entrants into Airtel premier.
    • Email capture Assigned Premier customers.
    • Anniversary greetings to all Premier customers (Birthdays, Weddings etc).
    • Driving customer experience of the Customer that is being managed, ensure customer is locked into the Airtel as a brand.

    Allocated Customer Collections:

    • Ensure collection of 99% of monthly invoices on allocated Premier accounts.
    • Ensure 60% of due date collections on all allocated Premier accounts.
    • Ensure >1% of bad debt Premier accounts.

    Qualifications

    • A recognized university degree.
    • Customer management / service experience post NYSC (no less than 2 years).
    • Understanding of the principles of CRM and Customer Management.
