    Reconciliation Analyst - Cards

    About the Role
    Our Cards division is looking for a Reconciliation Analyst to join their team and take responsibility for the following;

    • Periodic analysis and reporting of all end to end reconciliation of revenue and costs from source, and ensuring that all events are received and processed in a timely, complete and accurate manner.
    • Coordination and support in the validation of Card Schemes’ and Processor’s billing, data reporting requirements, completeness and accuracy.
    • Develop and support automation and efficiency of all required business processes and revenue assurance models for all card products and services related to all revenue streams.
    • Identify revenue leakage across the card business and advice senior management on these leakages as well as potential solution to drive revenue maximization.
    • Will ensure that all the bills passed by Visa and Network International are accurate by matching them with the number of cards and transactions for the period in view. This process involves the reconciliation of card transactions (ATM, POS and WEB) carried out using the Kuda Visa Debit Cards on a daily basis.
    • Weekly report analysis of all card transactions; spend and revenue.
    • Forecast future cost spend based on card transaction data.

    Requirements

    • Extensive experience in billing for Visa and NI
    • Strong data analytics skills and experience
    • Experience reconciling accounting figures and financial records
    • Ability to identify errors
    • Appropriate handling of sensitive information
    • Ability to work to deadlines
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills
    • Team player with the ability to work with multiple parties
    • Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including Excel and Accounting packages.

    Fraud Analyst

    Role Overview

    • As we work to consistently improve our service offering to our customers, we are searching for a highly cerebral Fraud Operations Analyst to join our Fraud Team and ensure that we not only manage fraud queries efficiently and effectively, but that we work to proactively prevent cases of fraud from occurring.
    • In this highly impactful role, you will primarily be responsible for pre-empting, identifying, mitigating, and preventing all forms of fraud across our business. This will require you to take ownership of the management and investigation of electronic fraud within the organization.
    • To be successful, you will need to react swiftly to any semblance of fraud and ensure it is addressed within an expeditious timeframe and escalated appropriately to mitigate the loss of funds. You will be responsible for providing customers with investigative findings on reported fraud.
    • Given the critical nature of this department, our fraud team may be required to work night and weekend shifts as we strive to provide our customers and industry stakeholders with resolution on any fraud cases in quickest time possible.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Block/place restrictions on accounts upon receipt of a fraudulent complaint.
    • Monitoring of all electronic transactions across all channels
    • Review of out-of-pattern transactions
    • Investigation of all electronic channel complaints.
    • Resolution and Documentation of investigative findings
    • Handling indemnities and footage requests.
    • Rendition of all Fraud Team’s regulatory returns
    • Investigation of Fraudulent chargebacks lodged against Kuda.
    • Investigation of overdraft Fraud
    • Manage escalations, effective and efficient remediation strategies
    • Treat customers’ complaints of unauthorized transactions.
    • Provide input into the identification of trends, and lessons learned from investigations to support the continuous improvement of Kuda’s product and control environment.

    Requirements
    Qualifications:

    • We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree preferably from a recognized University.

    Experience:

    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office
    • Critical thinking and problem solving skills
    • A minimum of 1 year exp
    • Good report writing and communication skills
    • Customer service skills
    • Good analytical skills.

    Product Designer

    About the Role

    • We’re looking for a Product Designer to create engaging designs according to requirements across the full suite of Kuda products. You will work under the supervision of the Product Design Lead to produce high-quality work.
    • You will be involved in the full product development cycle: from early research and product strategy, to design and developer hand-off.
    • You should have a strong understanding of design patterns on the web, mobile, strong visual and user experience sensibilities, and care deeply about the end-user experience.

    What You’ll Be Doing (Roles & Responsibilities)

    • Use various techniques to create drafts and prototypes
    • Produce final design solutions
    • Pitch creative and usable ideas
    • Bring new ideas to life from sketching and wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, visual design, asset production and developer handoff.
    • Use feedback from other designers, customers, and team members to improve the product.
    • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers on the Retail, Business and Internal Product teams to launch features that impact the teams’ KPIs.

    What You'll Need (Experience & Qualifications)

    • 1-3 years of experience designing and shipping both web and mobile products and tools
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating visual and user experience design in similar products
    • Experience with design software (we mostly use Figma)
    • Familiarity with design techniques (e.g. prototyping, wireframing)
    • Understanding of visual elements (layout, colors typography, and fonts)
    • Teamwork
    • A razor sharp eye for detail
    • Time management and multitasking abilities
    • The ability to think at a high level about product strategy and clearly articulate design decisions.

    Nice To Haves:

    • Knowledge of and interest in technology and financial services; prior experience working in fintech or digital payments a plus.
    • Experience designing, maintaining and using a design system.
    • Familiarity with UX writing.
    • Basic familiarity with front-end development with HTML/CSS/Javascript
    • Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
    • Experience using graphics editing tools (e.g. Photoshop, illustrator).
