    Quality Control (QC) and Warehouse Manager

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a competent, detail-oriented and well organized Quality Control and Warehouse Manager to monitor and ensure the correct Quality Management Systems (QMS) are being adhered to.
    • Ensure products are stored correctly, documentation is accurate, with a true reflection of product quality at all stages of the process.
    • He/She will be expected to record, inspect and test the product on arrival at the warehouse while demonstrating high level of professionalism, dependability, and reliability and the ability to stay organized under pressure

    Responsibilities

    • Conducting and reviewing QC process when required while devising ways to optimize inventory control procedures
    • Overseeing the receiving of all inventory items into the warehouse
    • Adequate and up-to-date records of all inventory items, and reporting the same accurately monthly, quarterly, and annually.
    • Oversee all receipt, storage, distribution, reconciliation, and security of inventory at the warehouse.
    • Manage activities of warehouse personnel
    • Enlist local traders to ensure timely delivery to grain point
    • Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory
    • Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
    • Collaborate with field agents and other staff to ensure business goals are achieved.
    • Sound administrative skills, combined with effective written and verbal communication and interaction to facilitate the carrying out of tasks timely and preventing costly mistakes.
    • Ensuring all deliveries are well labeled, stacked neatly, at all times, in accordance with company policy
    • Maintaining a well-organized warehouse layout with allowances for perimeter space, staging areas for truck loading and adequate spacing between stacks
    • Accurately completing, organizing, storing and submitting all required warehouse transaction documents.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in any relevant discipline
    • Training and/or certification in warehousing or logistics and the use of ERP
    • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience with proven experience as inventory manager or similar position
    • Must be able to communicate fluently in Hausa and English
    • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of inventory management software
    • Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
    • Reliable and trustworthy.
