    Product / Service Distributor

    Requirements

    • Have an effective country-wide distribution network in key regions / towns / rural areas either directly or indirectly through reputable partners.
    • Have a good working relationship with trade channels country-wide.
    • Have an established sales and marketing team capable of contributing to a steady growth of the company.
    • Have a good marketing and sales structure that can integrate an additional small sized service and maintenance unit.
    • Have a sound financial base.
    • Certificate of Company registration from Corporate Affairs Commission
    • Two passports photographs.
    • Letters of application to become a distributor including business plans.
    • Bank details
    • Evidence of financial strength (5 months bank statement)
    • Provision of three guarantors
    • Business location
    • Evidence of distributorship of other FMCG product

    General / Lead Manager

    Job Description

    • Responsible for development and management of Renewable Energy business as profit centre head.
    • Responsible for identifying potential opportunities and implementation of business strategy with the team and management
    • Profitability of business, quality of product and support services delivered to customer.
    • Meeting sales budget and timely execution of all Sales activities through the coordination of the team
    • Identify business opportunities for Solar / Renewable Energy products / Projects / Services with focus on EPC projects for solar power solutions
    • Identify and select Products / Technologies / Vendors / Service Providers / Tools to convert opportunities in to revenue streams and manage operations of the Solar / Renewable segment.
    • Liaison with Government agencies, funding agencies (DFID / Crown Agents, IFC, Bank of Industry) for regulatory support, project funding, policy framework and promotion of Solar energy to Power / Agricultural / Industrial applications.
    • Ability and capacity for development of Solar Mini Grids.
    • Identify internal infrastructure to operate business segment with commercial viability.
    • Ensuring presentation of proposals is in line with company directives.
    • Responsible for correct financial margins in accordance with budgets & correct selection of price mark up for equipment
    • Responsible for development of team
    • Co-ordination with engineering team on suppliers' end & proper installation of the equipment as per manufacturers' guidelines
    • Co-ordinate with Service Department to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
    • Work collaboratively with Customer Care team to manage third level query resolution.
    • Responsible for compliance with ISO system for business process
    • To preside over the company's day to day operations,take instructions and relate decisions to the Managing Director
    • To act as a liaison between management and the Board, to develop management agendas.

    Qualifications

    • A Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or other related qualifications.
    • A background in renewable / solar will be an advantage.
    • At least 3 years in a supervisory role.

    • Microsoft Office suite and other related software applications
    • Excellent English oral and written communication skill
    • High standard of attention to detail
    • Ability to work to deadlines
    • Result Oriented
