    Power Plant Manager

    Job Description

    • We are looking for a qualified professional to serve as Plant Manager for our client. The Plant Manager would be responsible for overseeing the day to day our clients power plant operations.

    Job Responsibilities
    To manage the Operational maintainance of the following Equipment:

    • Gas Generator (5.25X2 Mw); Black Start Engine 1500 KVA (Diesel Engine). HSD and Petrol tanks, PNG & CNG Station; Pump station & Dispensing unit of Petrol & Diesel; Charge Air filtration unit, Radiators; Exhaust system, Ventilation unit; Lube oil system of Gas genets; Demineralized Water Treatment Plant for Power Plant; Makeup water tanks of Hot water line, HT& LT line
    • Drive collaboration within site and across network activities, cross-functional planning, and decision making. Accountable for overall budget and financial performance of product manufacturing operations.
    • Monitor report and take action on Key Performance Indicators and deliver continuous Delivered Profit improvement through cost savings and systems optimization
    • Coordinate with inter & intra departments to ensure uninterrupted power to all the plant equipment.
    • Arrange all the critical / non-critical spares in order to minimize the down time of the gas engine.
    • Maintain spares by making indents, issue slips, RGP's etc.
    • Maintain all records, e.g.: periodic logbook, breakdown records, history card; and also keep track of resource stock - such as Petrol, Diesel, Natural Gas stock on a day to day basis.
    • Monitoring all parameter and ensure compliance with prescribed limits.
    • Maintain clean and hygienic working conditions in powerhouse.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience

    • B. E or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
    • Diploma in fitter trade from ITI / NCVT or equivalent institute.
    • Minimum of 8 years industrial experience in maintenance of gas engines and must have good and proven experience working in a minimum of 5.25 MW Gas Base Power Plant.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Must be detail-oriented and well-organized.
    • Must be highly trustworthy
    • Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities.
    • Proven ability to manage a team or group of people effectively.
    • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
