    Learning & Development Specialist

    Job Description

    • Assist Learning and development manager in the design and implementation of L&D strategy, plans and initiatives
    • On-board, train and motivate assigned team/trainees, ensuring they have the right tools, knowledge and training to improve performance and business effective
    • Ensure coaching, training and workshops are complimentary and aligned to business objectives and strategies
    • Provide support in the design and development of L&D programs (outsourced and/or in-house), including onboarding, technical, compliance, continuous improvement and leadership learning tools/experiences in partnership with the L&D manager and other stakeholders
    • Assist in the planning and execution of L&D crucial phase such as Identifying curriculum/learning needs, designing learning objectives and the overall Structure
    • Develop Content, Selection criteria/Assessment Tools, Faculty Selection (internal or external); Implementation of the intervention, and Evaluating the Impact across the group and subsidiaries
    • Partner with L&D Managers across regions to seek their inputs in the selection of appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes) that instills key behaviors in learners and produces measurable result
    • Bridge competency gaps by identifying, designing and adapting learning styles and tones that imparts diverse behavioral interventions for all levels of the employees across the group and subsidiaries
    • Assess instructional effectiveness and determine the impact of training on employee skills and KPIs
    • Produce and present report based on learning outcomes; review and re-strategize where necessary
    • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records
    • Host train-the-trainer sessions for internal subject matter experts
    • Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
    • Research and recommend new training methods, like gamification
    • Engage, recommend and maintain relationship with external training partners and vendors
    • Contribute to a High-Performance Culture by demonstrating ownership, accountability, and openness to feedback
    • Stay up-to-date and make recommendations on new training methods and techniques

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Education, Communications, and Organizational Development (or related field)
    • 5 years+ experience in adult learning as a Training Coordinator and/or Facilitator (or related area)
    • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
    • Extensive knowledge of content/curriculum development
    • Experience with human-centered, instructional design and game-based learning tools
    • Experience with eLearning and/or virtual learning programs (Captivate, Articulate, GoTo Training, etc.)
