    Mechanical Supervisor - FPSO Offshore M / F

    Job Purpose

    • This is an opportunity for you to be a Mechanical Supervisor and be responsible for maintenance operations within you field of competence.

    Responsibilities
    QHSE:

    • Must be and remain well informed of rules, instructions and procedures regarding QHSE.
    • Implements and ensures implementation of SPIE OGS QHSE rules, instructions and procedures.
    • Makes proposals for the continuous improvement of QHSE provisions.
    • Draws up noncompliance and/or observation reports when noting any malfunction or risk situation and transmits them to the local QHSE department.
    • Immediately alerts any person who caused a risk situation, on noting the occurrence of any such situation.

    Operations:

    • Organises on site the maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility,
    • Assists the planning team by giving any technical support for the preparation of the jobs in his discipline.
    • With his teams assists specialists working under Specific Maintenance Contracts (SMC),
    • Ensures that the COMPANY's HSE regulations are respected (especially procedures related to work permits), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility.

    Methods:

    • Identifies recurrent corrective maintenance interventions, analyses them and suggests improvements,
    • Keeps a critical eye on current preventive maintenance programmes and, if need be, suggests improvements.

    Profile
    The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

    • Higher National Diploma or Certificate (HND / HNC (A-levels + 3 years' study) or BTS / DUT or equivalent
    • 5 to 10 years' experience in the maintenance field on oil and gas production installations,
    • A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
    • Specific professional knowledge: SAP/R3 experience and know-how
    • Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams,
    • Pride in his work, ability to maintain good relations with colleagues and others,
    • Physical ability to work on offshore installations in the climatic conditions of the site,
    • Working language: English
    • He must have proven ability as a leader of small teams.
    • Perfectly competent and independent in his field, he must show common sense and organisational ability.
    • Natural authority, founded on his abilities and on the trust he has in his teams, is essential

    Hydraulic Technician / Crane Mechanic - M / F

    Job Description

    • We are currently looking for an Hydraulic Technician / Crane Mechanic
    • He/She responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair and maintenance of all cranes on an offshore platform

    Responsibilities

    • Demonstrates working knowledge of either of CANBUS, PAT, EKS, ECOS,LICCON systems
    • Examines parts for damage or excessive wear using micrometres and gauges
    • Reads and understands operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
    • Prepares for jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy and completeness
    • Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision
    • Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
    • Properly fills out working reports, hour's reports, timesheets, hour's overviews, work orders, and expense reports

    Profile

    • Preferred Qualifications: History of working with different forms of crane equipment.
    • A minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as a Hydraulic Technician or Crane Mechanic / Technician Operator with experience in inspection of cranes to diagnose defects.
    • Must have Hands on experience in troubleshooting and repairing of Crane system Hydraulics (Boom Telescopic system, Hydraulic Control Valves, Hydraulic Pumps, Hydraulic Motors, etc.).
    • Should also have knowledge in repairs/overhauling of Power Transmission systems like Torque Convertor, Automatic Transmission, Powershift Transmissions, Power Transfer Gear Boxes, Mechanical Transmissions, Clutch systems, Differential & Axles with Planetary systems.
    • Must have extensive knowledge and experience in reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics.
    • Offshore experience is required.

    Contract Site Representative / Campaign Coordinator - M / F

    Responsibilities

    • Coordination and preparation of Campaign team (onshore site)
    • Supervision offshore of the campaign team
    • Prepare plant and equipment maintenance to enable them to be executed in a safe and cost-effective manner within the constraints of an offshore logistical environment and limited recourses.
    • Monitor daily the preventive and breakdown maintenance activities, rescheduling work as required.
    • Update SAP CMMS for maintenance inspection requirements.
    • Liaise with the Maintenance Superintendent to ensure effective maintenance workload.
    • Liaise with Operations, Engineering and Inspection Departments for the preparation of detailed work scope with spares and resource requirements including long-lead items and vendor specialists
    • Participate in daily maintenance planning meeting.

    CSR:

    • He is the SPIE Representative focal point. Responsible for his teams on site, he particularly:
      • Ensures the correct behaviour of his teams in accordance with the general safety regulations of the subsidiary and, if need be, takes the necessary corrective measures: He is the Contractor’s HSE site representative
      • Organises on site the rotation schedules of his teams (administrative and logistical requirements, crew changes, etc.)
      • Identifies the training needs of his teams and makes training requests as appropriate. Constantly checks the validity of individual certifications required by his colleagues.
      • Appraises and rates those working in cooperation with his teams
      • Ensures the quality of the whole operations by organizing audits and carries out regular visits and inspections of offshore platforms
      • Reporting of all incidents and ensuring a safe working environment without LTI
      • Anticipates, plans and requests the logistical means necessary for smooth maintenance operations, taking the various constraints into account when planning and carrying out operations
      • Takes part in different daily, weekly and site coordination meetings
      • Maintains a report showing all trips/shutdowns including the analysis of the causes (Assisted by each trade involved)
      • Ensures the accuracy of maintenance reports before daily report validation by the Maintenance Superintendent

    Methods Activities:

    • Ensures the appropriateness of the operating and maintenance procedures employed by his crews and, if necessary, suggests improvements to the COMPANY’s superintendent
    • Keeps an up-to-date list of work that cannot be performed except during inspections of machines or shutdowns
    • Suggests improvements and requests modifications.
    • Ensures that all equipment and spare parts documentation are updated (paper/electronic documentation and CMMS SAP data base).

    Profile
    The holder of this post must have the following qualifications:

    • National Diploma or Certificate (ND / NC) or A-levels + 3 years' further study or BTS / DUT or equivalent
    • 6 years' experience in the field as a Contract Site Representative  in the Oil and Gas / Petrochemical industry,
    • Knowledge of the oil and gas treatment process, installations and equipment. Advanced knowledge
    • Awareness of Emerson's DeltaV Process Control System, Allen Bradley's ControlLogix System and Schneider's Triconex Safety Instrumented Systems are an added advantage.
    • Awareness of SAP CMIMS or similar.
    • Possession of good interpersonal skills Fluency in English language is required and knowledge of French language is an advantage.

    Candidate Criteria
    Minimum level of experience required:

    • 10 years or more

    Required Authorisations:

    • HSE training: BOSIET etc..

    Languages:

    • English (D-Full professional proficiency).
