    Business Development Lead (Technology and Advisory Services)

    Primary Responsibility

    • Overseeing all aspect of the business development functions, including client relationship management, delivering business development sales targets, generation of new sales leads and implementation of event-related sales & marketing initiatives to drive revenues & profit within the guidelines set & followed by the company.

    Specific Responsibilities
    As the driving force behind generating new business and sales contacts for the company, your specific responsibilities are as follows:

    • Finding and following up on new business opportunities with focus on technology services and Advisory (HR, Legal, Financial, Strategy and HR)
    • Drive strategic partnerships with top organizations
    • Collate prospective client(s) requirements and business data to create a business plan.
    • Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients
    • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
    • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; integrating contract requirements with business operations
    • Identifying services that would appeal to new clients and increase client base
    • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives
    • Manage strategic alliances & partnerships by securing corporate/ business relationships through effective client management & analysing joint ventures/partners to identify & ensure best suited options for the business.
    • Generate new client & business relationships to ensure new business & projects are identified
    • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise clients about them.
    • Understand the needs of your prospective clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
    • Evaluate prospective client’s requirements and develop business plan to meet these requirements,
    • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value propositions
    • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs.

    Requirements and Qualification

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years experience.
    • Previous experience working in a Technology Company or any company with High Sales Business Requirement
    • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed financial targets
    • Excellent sales, marketing and persuasive skills.
    • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
    • Strong relationship management and leadership skills
    • Excellent IT skills especially MS PowerPoint e.t.c
    • Team working skills and a collaborative approach to work
    • The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload
    • Project management and organizational skills
    • Excellent communication & negotiation skills
    • The ability to think strategically
    • The ability to analyze sales figures and write reports
    • Ability to make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm, maintain a sense of humor and to regularly present a well-groomed, professional image.

    Business Development Lead (Investment)

    Job Responsibilities
    As the driving force behind generating new business and sales contacts for your Unit, your specific responsibilities are as follows:

    Generation of New Businesses:

    • Finding and following up on new business opportunities with focus on generating liabilities (or investment).
    • Developing new strategies to increase sales in the other areas such as Loans,Insurance and other business development opportunities for the Revent Ecosystem
    • Collate prospective client(s) requirements and business data to create a business plan.
    • Arranging business meetings and one-on-one conversations with prospective clients
    • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis
    • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
    • Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; integrating contract requirements with business operations
    • Identifying services that would appeal to new clients and increase client base
    • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
    • Create a sales pipeline and pitches
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.

    Networking and Relationship Management:

    • Draw up prospective client contacts for revent global finance
    • Build strong relationships with prospective clients for new opportunities.
    • Generate new client & business relationships to ensure new business & projects are identified
    • Generate leads and cold call prospective clients
    • Implement business relationships and partnerships through direct meetings with clients and
    • Attending networking events, such as conferences, meetings, and industry events.
    • Manage strategic alliances & partnerships by securing corporate/ business relationships through effective client management & analyzing joint ventures/partners to identify & ensure best suited options for the business
    • Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
    • Maintain excellent relations with existing clients & potential clients

    Requirements and Qualification

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any related field.
    • Minimum of 4 years experience working in the financial services sector
    • Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed financial targets
    • Excellent sales, marketing and persuasive skills.
    • Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally, as well as presentation skills
    • Strong relationship management and leadership skills
