    Financial Accountant

    Job Brief

    • Our client is seeking an Accountant who will perform, manage, track and evaluate day-to-day Accounting / Audit activities.

    Job Description

    • Preparation of asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
    • Documenting financial transactions by accurately posting on accounting software (Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage).
    • Recommending financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
    • Summarizing current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
    • Ensuring all bank statements are correctly reconciled.
    • Co-ordinating disbursement of petty cash and posting same to the accounting software.
    • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Accounting, Banking and Finance and other related Discipline.
    • Must be chartered with at least 2 - 3 years Post call experience.
    • Must possess other requisite certifications with necessary professional bodies.

    Requirements:

    • Proven work experience as a Chartered Accountant in a Manufacturing company.
    • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
    • Prior knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics application.
    • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, Auditing practices, standards, laws and regulations.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to direct and supervise.

    Business Development Manager

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos

    Job Description

    • A Business Development Manager who will identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.
    • His work will involve project co-ordination, careful / strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, and enhancing the operation of the business, position or reputation.

    Responsibilities
    As a business development manager, he will:

    • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets, seek out the appropriate contact in an organization.
    • Maintain current client relationship and identifying areas for potential clients.
    • Contact potential clients to establish a business relationship and meet with them.
    • Coordinate Business projects and collaborate with team heads on delivering project proposals and write-ups.
    • Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
    • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
    • Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
    • Draw up client contracts - depending on the size of company, this task may be completed by someone else or agreements may not be as formal
    • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them.
    • Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them.
    • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
    • Liaise with the finance team, warehousing and logistics departments as appropriate.
    • Seek ways of improving the way the business operates.

    Requirements

    • BSc / BA in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
    • Proven work experience as a business development manager, executive or a relevant role
    • Proven sales track record
    • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
    • Proficiency in English
    • Market knowledge
    • Communication and negotiation skills
    • Ability to build rapport
    • Time management and planning skills.
