    Associate, Corporate Finance & Capital Market Advisory

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Support to Head, Investment Banking in deal identification and origination.
    • Actively identify and follow up on emerging market opportunities.
    • Develop and articulate a comprehensive strategic Structuring framework for handling deals.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of overall Operational Plan/Budget for IBD for each financial year.
    • Carry out design/structuring products/platforms for delivering/achieving advisory/capital raising targets for attained mandates.
    • Assist in the process of developing capital raising windows both locally and offshore in line with the requirements of the target market.
    • Prepare status reports on a periodic basis.
    • Provide Transaction Execution/Management support to ensure cutting-edge delivery of services that would surpass client’s expectations.
    • Perform any other responsibilities as directed by the Head, Investment Banking from time to time.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • First Degree in any business-related course
    • The candidate should have 7-10 years of experience in Investment banking
    • MBA or relevant MSc will be an added advantage
    • CFA certification required.

    Head, Corporate Finance & Capital Market Advisory

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the company’s investment banking portfolio and develop the company’s capabilities to structure and raise financing for medium to large ticket transactions locally and off-shore, as well as, meeting financial/operational targets for the division.
    • Development and maintenance of Operational Plan/Budget for IBD for each Financial Year.
    • Develop and supervise the implementation of the Structure for building world-class Investment Banking Organization and Execution.
    • Responsible for the development and review of viable strategic plans/budgets for achieving the division’s short- and long-term goals
    • Drive the implementation of the strategic plan and prepare periodic situation reports on weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
    • Develop platforms that would facilitate capital raising activities both locally and off-shore based on target market definition
    • Develop an operating manual to guide company advisory and capital raising activities with clear procedures to handle transaction structuring and execution, advisory agreement, fee model, etc
    • Provide effective leadership of the division and coaching of direct reports
    • Perform any other responsibility as assigned by the CEO.

    Experience & Qualifications

    • First Degree in any business-related course
    • MBA or relevant MSc
    • The candidate should have 12-15 years of experience, 6 of which must have been spent in a management position in an investment banking firm.
    • CFA certification required.

    Event Manager

    Location: Epe, Lagos

    Job Summary

    • Event Manager to plan and organise promotional, business, and social events.
    • The role will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of diverse events that meet the quality of customer experience and are in line with budgets and time constraints while managing the whole process from the planning stage to the post-event evaluation and everything in-between.
    • The role is primarily hands-on and will involve working as part of a team.

    Job Description

    • Plan and manage the implementation of events from start to finish according to requirements, target audience and objectives
    • Produce detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets)
    • Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (venue, catering, travel)
    • Liaise with sales and marketing teams to publicise and promote events
    • Manage all pre-event and post-event activities
    • Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly.
    • Manage a team of staff, giving full briefings.
    • Produce post-event evaluation to inform future events
    • Research opportunities for new clients and events.

    Personal Specification

    • First Degree from a recognised institution.
    • At least 3 years of proven experience as an Event Manager or a similar role.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
