    Front Desk / Guest Service Agent

    Details

    • Our client is looking to fill the position of Front Desk / Guest Service Agent.
    • The ideal candidate will have experience in guest service relations, customer service and must be well spoken.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks
    • Manage online and phone reservations
    • Inform customers about payment methods
    • Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay)
    • Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
    • Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates and amenities
    • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner
    • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully-furnished to accommodate guests’ needs
    • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
    • Upsell additional facilities and services, when appropriate
    • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.

    Skills & Education

    • Minimum OND, HND or NCE qualification
    • Interpersonal communication
    • Proiblem solving skills
    • Customer service
    • MS package.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years experience
    • Must be available to start immediately.

    Hotel Supervisor

    Job Description

    • Our client is looking to fill the position of a Supervisor, overseeing all the hotels operations, ensuring that operations are efficient and profitability is maximised.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise all staff members in their duties and encourage or reprimand as necessary
    • Ensure the work areas are clean and well maintained
    • To monitor staff daily, ensuring that staff delivers the highest standards of customer service at all times.
    • Inspect table set ups; check for cleanliness, neatness.
    • Follow health and safety regulations.
    • Orient and plan work in areas of responsibility, overview and authorize roistering staff within areas of their responsibility.
    • Ensure guests are billed and settlement obtained for all services rendered as per the revenue control policy.
    • Responsible for the inventory of all service equipment, cutlery, crockery, and glassware
    • To bring in ideas that will increase sales.

    Skills & Education

    • Minimum of OND, HND or Bachelor's Degree
    • Conversant with all MS packages
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Excellent interperosnal and problem solving skills.

    Job Description

    • Our client is looking for live-in skilled Nigerian cook to serve the hotel rooms and in-house restaurant.
    • The ideal cook will be specialised in Nigerian delicacies both modern and traditional food, excellent at menu costing, budgeting and recipe development.
    • The Hotel has 9 rooms and a 4-bedroom shortlet extension.

    Responsibilities

    • Setting up, cleaning, and organizing work stations
    • Preparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.
    • Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shift
    • Taking orders from wait staff or computerized system
    • Cooking order according to food health and safety standards
    • Recommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishes
    • Handling multiple food orders at one time
    • Monitoring multiple food orders as new orders arrive
    • Dressing order for presentation
    • Ensuring each guest order has the correct food and sides
    • Delivering food order to wait staff in a timely manner
    • Storing all food properly
    • Sanitizing and cleaning work stations and utensils
    • Reordering stock and food supplies.
    • Monitoring other cooks and team members

    Education

    • Minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate.

    Skills and Experience:

    • 3 - 6 years work experience
    • Must be available to start immediately.
