    SAF Card and Switching Officer

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for overseeing FEP and Card services Infrastructure performance, as well as new system/project integration and deployment to existing infrastructure to ensure long term business sustainability and profitability.

    Job Description

    • Integrate and deploy new systems and products to ensure business sustainability and profitability
    • Configure complex system and security to suit current business needs and requirements as well as regulatory compliance
    • Ensure timely resolution of service desk issues in line agreed SLAs
    • Ensure timely reporting and analysis of data for business/management decision making
    • Perform second level support to SBUs to ensure effective service delivery
    • Perform POS acquiring service support and monitoring; this will include the entire merchant life cycle from on-boarding to transaction processing.
    • Review transaction analysis/service improvement in liaison with NIBSS and other stakeholders
    • Conduct performance review and analysis across enabling platforms, such as; HSM and Thales payshield manager events/
    • Manage/monitor efficiency of virtual terminals e.g. IPG (Payment gateway), MVISA,QR,Visa direct(remittance)

    Job Experience

    • Minimum of first degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related Disciplines, other relevant professional IT certificate will be advantage.

    Job Experience

    • Minimum of 4 years or more post qualification experience in information technology with at least 3 years’ experience in senior IT management functions

    Job Experience and Qualification

    • BA / B.Sc in Marketing or any related field. A professional Marketing certificate is an added bonus

    Team Lead, SAF Database Administration

    Job Summary

    • To oversee all enterprise databases and middleware of servers towards high service level agreed with customers and the business by ensuring high availability and reliability of these databases.

    Job Description

    • Manage the bank’s application databases, develop and ensure that data storage, archiving, back-up and recovery procedures are functioning as required at optimum levels.
    • Ensure database integrity and security at all times.
    • Manage and maintain user accounts, objects, access permission and privileges.
    • Perform database administration.
    • Assesse user needs and conduct periodic database capacity planning.
    • Monitor and optimize/tunes the performance of the bank’s databases.
    • Generate periodic database performance and availability reports.
    • Manipulate data within databases to increase manageability and data retrieval.
    • Analyze database efficiency and offer suggestions for improvement.
    • Monitor database availability, stability, and integrity using activity logs and other tools.
    • Oversee and execute data security measures to maintain data integrity and confidentiality.
    • Manipulate database to provide required Management Information.
    • Develop cross platform knowledge to manage databases across a number of vendors.
    • Accurately estimate and manage storage requirements, security, auditing, backup, and recovery.
    • Provide database solution support for primary and secondary production problems.
    • Database Alert monitoring.

    Job Experience

    • Minimum of 6 years post qualification experience of which at least 4 must have been in the Financial Services Sector and 1 year in a supervisory position.
