Junior Estate Surveyor at Foodco Nigeria Limited

Principal Duties/Responsibilities

• Support the team in a thorough inspection of land and property based on industry standard practices
• Identify and evaluate the opportunity for development and profitability
• Render assistance in the preparation of architect’s brief and evaluation of design proposals.
• Carry out surveys such as traffic survey (foot and mobile), proximity to competitors, demography, traffic generators within the location.
• Carry out valuation of land and properties without supervision
• Prepare survey Plans, including charting the layout of the property (according to required standard of the business).
• Determine the value of land and property by surveying the structure, land and surrounding conditions taking into consideration future value and potential
• Determine the value of rent and service charge after carrying out analysis of property conditions
• Carry out feasibility and viability study on the proposed location for business
• Carry out extensive research into land and property history to determine if there are any ownership or legal disputes/implications
• Property management and maintenance coordination and facility management

Qualifications

• Minimum of HND in either Estate management, Building surveying, Real estate or Planning and Property development
• 1-3 years experience in a similar position.
• Registration with a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.

• Strong attention to details and ability to give a detailed analysis
• Ability to objectively assess situations from a 360-degree standpoint
• Have good analytical skills (the ability to process lots of information at once and document it correctly)
• Ability to work within time constraints to achieve targets and deliverables
• Good customer service and people relationship skills
