    Heavy Equipment Manager

    To coordinate the maintenance and usage of all the equipment in the company’s pool of Heavy Duty Machinery (HDM)  and ensure that the HDMs are made available to the departments that need them. Most importantly, to enable these departments to complete the tasks in order of priority to achieve the company’s overall productivity.

    RESPONSIBILITES

    • Responsible for managing the operations of all  company’s heavy equipment for effective maintenance and repairs. 
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair activities on various pieces of heavy equipment including but not limited to: Crushers, Mixers, Excavators, Dozers, Cranes, Fork Lifts, etc., establishing productivity goals and tracking progress of work.
    • Supervise multiple maintenance mechanics, monitor the productivity, efficiency and utilization of technicians. Identify skill gaps and recommend learning interventions to ensure optimum manpower efficiency.
    • Ensure that customers’ service orders are fulfilled by carrying out full inspection of the quality of repairs done by technicians before the release of heavy equipment.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Be adept in troubleshooting, repairing and overhauling of equipment.
    • Have excellent project management skills.
    • Have good communication skills.
    • Be able to work with people and make informed decisions.
    • Be able to pay attention to details.

    QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering (minimum of Second Class Lower Division).

    EXPERIENCE

    • 7-10 years experience in a Heavy Equipment Workshop.

    Tax Manager - Finance (Apapa)

    RESPONSIBILITES

    • Review and reconcile general ledger entries for tax implications; provide corrective and improvement measures accordingly. 
    • Ensure compliance, timely filing and remittance of all taxes and levies (such as Expatriate PAYE, VAT, WHT, CIT, ET, business premises levy, development levy, etc.) within government time frame. 
    • Manage relationship with tax authorities and consultants and supervise all tax audits.
    • Provide comprehensive report on every tax audit exercise and give regular status update on tax cases, remittances, levies, fees, payments to agents and consultants.
    • Provide innovative tax management, planning, and tax-savings strategies, backed with statistical data and/or analysis. 
      Be abreast with all tax regulations and new promulgation / enactments and advise finance management accordingly.
    • Provide advisory support to Food Division and Business Units on tax matters as may be required. 
    • Apply a holistic approach to determine impact to various taxes and ensure that tax position is optimized.
    • Review contracts for commercial and regulatory compliance and efficiency.
    • Ensure all tax queries and correspondences are responded to, and appropriate steps are taken to avoid penalties due to non-compliance.

    THE PERSON MUST 

    • Be proactive and have excellent organizational skills.
    • Have problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Be comfortable with at least 50% travel on the job

    QUALIFICATION

    • First degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
    • Professional Certification is required e.g, ICAN, ACCA

    EXPERIENCE

    • Minimum of seven (7) years cognate experience in a similar role.
    • Consulting or FMCG background from a multinational is an added advantage

    Assistant Manager- Power & Utilities (Apapa)

    To oversee and optimize utilities (Boilers, Air compressor, Water Treatment, ETP, etc.) and power (all generators) performance and liaise with all relevant stakeholders to drive reliability for utilities and power equipment.

    RESPONSIBILITES

    • Ensure that all Boilers, Compressed air systems, water treatment plant, Generators, Effluent Treatment Plant, and associated equipment are operated per OEM standard and best practices as aligned with FMN management.
    • Liaise with Technical Manager and all relevant stakeholders – procurement, stores, etc. especially site operations teams to always support availability of all power and utilities equipment while proactively mitigating downtimes as much as possible.
    • Ensure overall asset care/maintenance for all utilities and power equipment under your purview. This includes spares-part planning, cost management, inventory, maintenance execution, etc. as designated.
    • Deliver set KPIs and targets in the power and utilities space.
    • Liaise with Technical Manager and extended technical teams to continuously improve state of asset in the power and utilities space.

    THE PERSON MUST

    • Have good communication skills.
    • Possess excellent leadership skills.
    • Have good planning and organizational capabilities.
    • Have solid problem-solving skills and be action driven.
    • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.

    QUALIFICATION 

    • B.Eng/HND in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or related engineering course.
    • Certificate of membership with Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) will be a plus.
    • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably similar responsibility of managing Outsourced Employees.

    EXPERIENCE

    • At least 5 years cognate experience.
    • Oversee and supervise plant operations.
