    Home Automation Supervisor

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos.

    Our client, a fast growing automation and installation company, is seeking to hire qualified and experienced Home Automation Supervisors who have past experience in installation of home automation systems such as intelligent lighting, alarm control solutions, multi-room audio and video streaming, automated shades, climate control solutions, CCTV…etc. The Home Automation Supervisors will be responsible for supervising the installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting, testing and repairing of home automation systems in the field to ensure optimum usage and quality. They will ensure compliance to customer specifications and company requirements, schedule, coordinate and supervise installation support and service operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Determine and define project scope and objectives
    • Assess resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
    • Develop, supervise and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
    • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
    • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
    • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
    • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
    • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
    • Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
    • Supervise technical implementation team and manage all project implementation activities from inception till final delivery.
    • Conduct customer training

    Requirements:

    • Bsc in electrical or computer engineering or any related field
    • Min. of 4 years experience in home automation System Designs and implementation.
    • Experience in Home Automation systems including (Light Control/ AC / Shutter / Current Control/ Surveillance Systems/ MATV/ Intercom System/ PBX Telephony Systems/ Data Network Infrastructure (Passive)/ Wifi / LAN/ Computer Servers and Data Storage systems/ Zoned Audio Systems/ Distributed Video/System Integration
    • Ability to manage effectively individuals at all levels
    • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project, MS Visio, and Auto Cad
    • Communication skills both written and verbal
    • High organizational skills and ability to manage stress and meet deadlines

    Home Automation Engineer

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos.

    Our client, a fast growing automation installation company, is seeking to hire qualified and experienced Home Automation Engineers who have past experience in installation of home automation systems such as intelligent lighting, alarm control solutions, multi-room audio and video streaming, automated shades, climate control solutions, CCTV…etc. The successful candidates will conduct the installation and programming of Home Automation systems. They will be expected to manage on-site installations and program and test systems. They will perform installations and work with a highly professional and close knit engineering team. They must be able to use programming softwares and be PC literate. Part of the role will involve dealing with clients, telephone support, quality control, training & on site supervision.

    • Developing efficient, scalable home automation platforms for thousands of users
    • Delivering tools and frameworks to ensure the security and stability of high availability systems
    • Working with cloud and mobile teams to implement exciting new smart home features
    • Applying creative solutions to a wide array of challenges
    • Installation, Maintenance and Troubleshooting of Access Control Systems, Time Attendance Solution , CCTV, Broadband Wi- Fi, Video Door Phones, Projectors, Access Control Equipment, UPS, Fire Alarm Solutions, Security System Intruder alarm system, DVR, Remote connectivity, Networking

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 4 years installation and programming experience in the automation space.
    • A degree in an engineering or programming related subject.
    • The ability to program PLCs or PC based programming applications.
    • An aptitude to learn quickly and utilize new knowledge on client sites.
    • Some management ability to delegate tasks to installers and sub-contractors on site.
    • Good technical knowledge encompassing automation & low current systems is essential
    • Previous experiences with lighting systems, audiovisual racks, multi room A/V, security & digital surveillance, networks are a desirable quality.

    Mixologist/Bartender

    Our client in the hospitality industry is looking to hire the services of a qualified and experienced mixologist/bartender. The Mixologists/Bartenders serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to restaurant and bar patrons. They may serve beer and wine, make classic drinks or create new recipes for cocktails. They are also responsible for ensuring that their bars run smoothly and efficiently.

    Responsibilities:

    • Mix drinks
    • Design new beverage menu ideas
    • Entertain and educate guests
    • Ensure that bars are stocked with glasses, garnishes, drink mixes and ice.
    • Order bar supplies from outside vendors.
    • Process cash and credit card payments from customers and verify that patrons are old enough to drink before serving them alcohol.
    • Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed
    • Follow alcohol laws
    • Make drinks suggestions
    • Prepare garnishes
    • Keeping the bar neat and clean. Set up bars before they open and perform closing procedures at the end of business hours.

    Requirements:

    • Degree/diploma in any related field
    • Previous bartending experience
    • Experience in handling point of sale (POS) terminals
    • Good communication and customer service skills
