    Manager, Clinical Operations and Education

    The Position

    • We are looking for a candidate who is a clinician and an excellent public speaker as well as a writer.
    • You are intellectually curious and therefore will harness evidence to help drive our clinical programs while ensuring we are generating and disseminating the evidence.
    • You will help to manage clinical operations, scale and quality improvement excellence and customer/member engagement.

This includes ensuring appropriate clinical supervision of the care team, spearheading clinical quality and performance improvement initiatives, clinical risk management, achieving hub-level and individual patient quality outcomes, and supporting clinical best practice adoption and furthering the integration of behavioural health and promotive/preventative services.

    Responsibilities
    You will:

    • Manage programs to continuously understand and address clinical team training needs while applying the latest clinical evidence contextualized to our settings for the self-care management of chronic conditions. Maintain clinical protocols according to changes in clinical best practice.
    • Support management of critical product and service lines including iteration on the strategy with full ownership of the execution model, oversight of the team and achievement of the performance results including member experience, partnerships, financial results.
    • Design and develop clinical, behavioural, digital, quality training and mentoring programs grounded in evidence for the clinical, product, tech and business teams using asynchronous and synchronous approaches. These training programs will be hybrid of in-person and digital using consultants as needed.
    • Manage internal clinical review meetings to ensure fidelity of clinical programming
    • Work closely with the research team and external strategic partners to design evidence programs that help us better understand the impact of our innovative integrated self-care approach on our members.
    • Collaborate with our product, tech, marketing and growth teams to optimize our brand. Summarize and share feedback from members with the technology team to ensure user-centred iterations in product and service delivery.
    • Support business development efforts and investment opportunities and co-lead proposal development process when needed. Showcase our programs, the clinical rigour and member experience with clients and partners.
    • Leverage digital tools to manage the team and ensure full adoption by clinical team members
    • Harness Gemba principles to optimize the coaching process.
    • Actively analyze clinical outcomes and business analytics to advise organizational priorities and decision-making pertaining to staffing, business development, and revenue growth

    • Implement an accountability and monitoring framework for all coaching, navigator staff as well as coaching rewards system.
    • Facilitate mystery patient and broader quality control programs to ensure coaches are providing top-notch service that will drive member engagement and high retention.
    • Monitor clinical quality dashboards.
    • Work closely with the communications team to ensure optimal health education messages for members.
    • Work with the Ops team to track progress and ongoing fidelity monitoring of the implementation and rollout of new processes and workflows with the care team.
    • Have oversight of community-based screening and NudgeHub  programs in partnership with staff.

    Requirements

    • Medical Degree required
    • MBA or Master s preferred
    • 4-7 years of experience in clinical medicine and project management experience preferred.

    Manager, Women's Wellness

    Fitness Coach

    The Position

    • mDoc needs knowledgeable and dynamic problem-solvers to be part of the firm through its next stage of development.
    • We are looking for a Fitness Coach who will run and supervise various fitness and health programs.
    • You will assess the physical and health conditions of clients, create appropriate exercise plans, and monitor their improvement.
    • You will also explain applicable safety rules and regulations (e.g. use of equipment). Ultimately, you will help our clients have fun and improve their health through exercise.

    • B.Sc or Advanced Degree (or equivalent)in Human Nutrition and/or Dietetics 
    • Currently, a Registered Dietitian with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nutrition programs, at the facility or public health level

    Product Manager

    The Position

    • In this position, you will be a member of a team of product managers. You will be a key lead for operations, scale and clinical and quality improvement excellence and customer/patient engagement.
    • You will oversee a suite of product and service lines and special projects (such as ECHO and MSD for Mothers) and will be in charge of refinement of our measurable goals. You will oversee a small team to deliver and surpass performance expectations.

    • Given there are different tiers of the product and service lines, you will be expected to co-develop product pricing and positioning strategies as well as translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.

In addition, you will drive product launches, develop and evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed , using user-centred design principles.

    Behavioural Health Coach

    The Position

    • In this position, you will be a part of the team cohort providing direct (virtual and in-person) self-management support services to members, who face mental health challenges via our innovative self-management model.
    • Your work will frequently be hub and field-based, extending out in the surrounding neighborhood and community but there will also be a large virtual component as well.
    • You will be expected to follow evidence-based guidelines for care while contextualizing to the needs of the members.
    • The Health Coach will be responsible for members/ individuals and will work in collaboration with other members of a virtual team to help them meet their wellness and health needs. You will be expected to respond to them asynchronously for the most part as well as setting up brief one on one synchronous chats.
    • The behavioural health coaches work with individuals and encourages them to take a lead role in their wellness by providing them with tools and support to make the right kinds of lifestyle modifications.
    • Along with the mDoc leadership team, you will cultivate an environment reflecting the values of mDoc Healthcare, including respect for our members and team members.     The Mental Health Coach will:  

    • Conduct psychological assessments using existing tools.
    • Provide support, lifestyle education and guidance to members virtually and in-person and addressing their queries as well as motivating them.
    • Work with the operations and clinical teams to understand population level data and make adjustments to the evidence-based curriculum.
    • Provide clinical support to the coaces Also work with the other coaches to support and build capability
    • Community engagement and mobilization through a multitude of methods
    • Work with community-based partners on shared initiatives
    • Research and compile needed clinical resources.
    • Support marketing and sales initiatives as subject matter expert.
    • Review data constantly and provide feedback within expected time frames on improvements or support

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in psychology
    • Master's degree or relevant qualification in social services or health-related field preferred (nursing/midwifery, psychology, counseling, health education, exercise science, nutrition and dietetics, etc.) preferred but not required
    • Expert knowledge of motivational interviewing, reflective listening, behavior change theory, and health psychology preferred
    • Minimum 3 years of experience working in health coaching, health promotion, chronic illness management or other clinical role preferred.
    • Experience with cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based therapy

    Position

    • In this position, you will be a part of the team cohort supporting members to enroll into the program, as well as facilitate fulfillment of their specific care needs.
    • Here you will often be the first point of contact for mDoc. Your work will frequently be hub and field-based, extending out in the surrounding neighborhood and community but there will also be a large virtual component as well.

    Senior Associate, Clinical Education

    The Position

    • In this role, you will manage the clinical and operational processes for the Diabetes and Hypertension and Wellness overall programming and be accountable for on-going implementation and process improvement and operational process improvement to ensure we deliver excellent measurable virtual and in-person care to our members.

    Clinical Education and Digital Health Outcomes:

    The Project Associate will:

    • Assist in the implementation of project activities in accordance with the work plan.
    • Use Jira and other technology tools to proactively manage the team's complex plans
    • Lead the daily huddles with the clinical and management team
