Job Description

• The site civil engineer, will manage projects, supervise contractors, and provide technical advice as a subject matter expert.
• Incumbent will supervise site preparation and bush clearing activities.
•  Compile estimates for technical and material requirements for project development
• Test material and structural integrity
•  Determine and present estimates of operational costs
• Monitor project progress, compliance with design specifications and safety standards
• Evaluate operations and processes
• Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency
• Implement improvements to designs and processes
• Research the environmental impact of projects Incorporate eco-friendly and sustainable features into design plans
•  Create graphical representations of proposed solutions
•  Prepare proposal documents and presentations
• Compile and present reports explaining project details to non-technical stakeholders
•  Direct engineering activities, assign tasks and provide training and support
•  Create work schedules and adjust as needed to meet project deadlines
• Maintain detailed documentation of all site engineering activities

Qualifications

• B.E in civil or structural engineering and construction discipline.
• COREN
• Minimum 5 years proven track record of experience managing greenfield projects from start to finish. Strictly
•  In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design
•  Familiar with scientific analysis software as well as graphics and map creation software
• Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills
• Strong time management and project management skills
• Active listening and verbal communication skills
• Ability to use the scientific process to solve problems Dedication to learning new concepts and strategies

Responsibilities

•  Supervising daily operation within the production floor to achieve higher.
•  Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production targets
•  Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
• Ensuring the efficient use and flow of raw materials and other resources.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within the production facility.
• Maintaining communication between employees and all stakeholders.

REQUIREMENT

•  BSc.Chemical/ Mechanical engineering or relevant field
• Proven 3 years experience as Production Supervisor

Responsibilities 

• Managing the financial bookkeeping of the organisation.
• Maintaining an Asset schedule of the organisation.
• Processing invoices, recording payments and tracking expenses of the organisation.
• Cross checking each expense with the corresponding invoice, to ensure that the billing is accurate.
• Ensure updated payments of service charge on the ERP.
• Resolving billing disputes, creating and monitoring internal auditing procedures.
• Reconciliation of accounts.
• Filing of statutory returns (PAYE, VAT, WHT) to the appropriate agencies.
• Liasing with external Auditors and government authorities. Etc.

Qualification and Experience

• B.Sc / BA in Accounting . M.Sc / MA is a plus and any other professional qualification.
• Must have 3-5 years of working experience.
• Must be experienced in Accounting software (SAGE is preferred), Microsoft applications etc.

Duties and Responsibilities

•  Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
• Approve in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the production supervisor
•  Approve all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests
•  Return products for re-work if needed and complete documentation to confirm re-work
•  Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs.
• Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs.

Requirements and Qualifications

•  B.Sc in Science, Engineering or related field.
• 2- 5 years experience in a manufacturing or production company.
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain and teach methodologies
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
