    Lean Implementation Manager

    Job Description

    • Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
    • Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Lean activities
    • Develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Management Team and key business stakeholders
    • Implement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business improvement

    Qualifications

    • A relevant manufacturing/engineering degree is preferred
    • 10+ years experience in a similar role within the Oil and Gas or Construction industry 
    • Membership of an industry-related professional body would be advantageous
    • Master Black Belt in Six Sigma or equivalent qualification
    • Background in engineering, oil and gas/construction environments
    • Background in people management and project management
    • Qualified Trainer is advantageous

    Job Description

    • Supervises fabrication yard erection activities (fit up, welding and lifting).
    • Supervises fabrication yard installation operations (piping installation, E.I.T.).
    • Co-ordinates and interfaces between fabrication/installation and pre-fabrication activities.
    • Co-ordinates sub-contractors involved in the assembly stages.
    • Ensures compliance with safety procedures and quality standards.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering discipline.
    • Experience in a similar position (years): mini 10 years. At a minimum, job holders must have extensive hands, on technical, project coordination, and supervisory experience gained in a brownfield Oil & Gas Construction environment, construction, inspection, and commissioning experience with oil & gas pipelines, gas processing plants, and gas gathering projects. 
    • Good knowledge of the industry best practices and contract practices in Oil & Gas projects.
    • Have a strong working knowledge of construction contracts, contractor inspection procedures, and construction work sequences for plants and pipelines.
    • Have a working knowledge of codes & standards such as ASME, DOT, API, OSHA, and AWS inspection procedures.
    • Have experience utilizing MS Project for project scheduling (preferred).
    • Good sense of team spirit leadership, strong interpersonal and soft communication skills in a multi-cultural environment.
    • Fluent in English - Both verbal and written.
    • Valid H2S and T-BOSIET (OPITO) trainings with offshore medical fitness.

    • Experience with multi-national contractors & vendors, in particular those involved in the Oil and Gas or Construction industry,
