    Salon Administrator

    Location: Ikoyi, Lagos.

    N.B: Candidate MUST reside on the island.

    Our client, a reputable beauty salon is seeking to hire the services of a Salon Administrator who would also serve as a Social Media Manager. The Salon Administrator/Social Media Manager will be responsible for the salon’s day-to-day operations both online (on social media) and offline. Other responsibilities include supervising staff, scheduling shifts, promoting the salon’s services and keeping updated records of expenses and revenues. She will also help boost client satisfaction and increase revenues.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day operations of the salon including opening and closing procedures, staff behavior and customer intake procedures
    • Organize employees’ shifts, considering peak times and seasonality
    • Interview, hire, and train salon staff in procedure, policy, and health regulations
    • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage for the salon’s needs
    • Accept online appointment bookings
    • Send appointment reminders
    • Resolve customer complaints and provide solutions to staff disputes
    • Ensure customers are served refreshments when needed
    • Account for and report profits and expenses of the salon

    • Receive payments from clients and track all transactions

    Job Requirements:

    • A degree in any relevant field
    • Minimum of 2 years working experience
    • Prior Experience in the beauty industry is a plus
    • Proficiency in MS Office Packages.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • To coordinate all the activities involved in the assembly of two-wheeled and three-wheeled automobiles.
    • To ensure the timely assembly of the automobiles in line with company SOP
    • To ensure that professionalism is placed in assembly the of automobiles with required quality assurance etc
    • Supervises coordinates activities of workers engaged in assembling units like; motorcycles, tricycles etc.
    • Directs workers in welding, assembly, inspection, and repair techniques, utilizing knowledge of assembly procedures specifications.
    • Confers with other supervisory personnel to coordinate activities of individual departments within the plant.
    • Assigns training of new employees to qualified workers or performs training duties.

    REQUIREMENTS/ESSENTIAL SKILLS

    • The ideal candidate should possess a good degree in Engineering or related disciplines.

    Our client, an event design, and planning agency is seeking to hire a highly creative event designer who has a strong understanding of space design with an eye for aesthetic details. The successful candidate will be a creative individual that is highly organized and be able to manage the logistic of multiple events simultaneously.

    Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Creates and implements innovative event design concepts and experiences.
    • Creates storyboards to include floor plans, rendering, sample fabric, and photos. ·
    • Responsible for concept and proposal development, research, sourcing, and pricing to create profitable events that meet client needs.
    • Provides clients with innovative and timely proposals exhibiting a thorough knowledge of their needs as pertains to budget and all aspects of the event design.
    • Stays current on industry and design trends · Responsible for writing, sending, and receiving contracts.
    • Knowledgeable about event venues, i.e., the rules, load in/out times, and limitations when drafting proposals
    • Responsible for attending site tours and inspections on an as need basis with the client and other vendors
    • Manage relationships with vendors, venues, and clients
    • Choose vendors to provide elements of the event décor: this includes everything from stationery for invitations to fabrics for curtains and tablecloths, centerpieces for tables, special effects, and lighting equipment.
    • Create project plans and deadlines for the implementation of all design elements

    REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
    • Previous event industry experience. · Previous interior design experience
    • Team management Experience
    • Proficiency in event design software such as CAD, Vivien
