    Sales Representative

    A. Operational Accountability Area

    Prospecting

    Prospect for new opportunities, by coordinating with Marketing on market surveys / research for potentials, having site visits to find new opportunities, meeting potential customers, and reporting on new products or services in the market (competitive or relevant to the company products or services), to get more leads and stay ahead in the market.

    Sales offers

    Prepare sales offers and quotations, by attaining the needed information from the customers, preparing technical offers based on prices from Sales Engineer, and presenting to Sales Manager/AGM for approval, to have documented offers for future referencing.

    Organization

    Ensure proper communication of all sales related documents, by authenticating these documents, acquiring all needed customer and management signatures, distributing as should to related departments for processing, follow up on the sales documentation till completion and filing adequately for future retrieval, to ensure no issues arise due to errors of miscommunication or delays in production and delivery.

    Pricing

    Offer proper prices to customers, upon reviewing customers' portfolio and acquiring the matching prices from the price lists provided by the Sales Manager, to avoid wrong prices being given to customers.

    Delivery coordination

    Coordinate the delivery and installation of sold generators to customers through following up with all concerned sales persons and related departments and attend to the commissioning of generators on-site when needed, to verify process completion and assure customer satisfaction and after-sales support.

    Customer Service

    Ensure proper communication with the customers, by building good rapport, being available to respond to the customer's inquiries, and showing good-will to constantly understand and support customer's need, to enhance sales and after-sales support.

    Continuous Improvement

    Attend exhibitions related to the company’s field of work, by visiting stands and communicating with potential customers, to network and market the company's name and image as part of increasing sales plan.

    Gas Engineer

    Our client a long established and leading manufacturer of Quality powered Generator Sets has retained our services to search for a technically sound solar representative of high integrity to drive the sales of its products (Generators and Solar systems) in Lagos state

    Qualification:

    Degree- BSC/HND/OND in related course of study

    Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience

    Gas power station operation and maintenance

    Deliver an efficient and cost-effective service to customers, to ensure that:

    • Maximum availability of gas engines and related balance of plant is achieved through fast response trouble shooting and fault rectification.
    • Scheduled maintenance is carried out to the required standard in order to avoid unnecessary replacement of parts and engine unavailability.
    • Out of hours callouts are responded to in a timely manner.
    • Ensure that liaison and communication with customers and subcontractors on site is maintained at all times.
    • Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, based on consistently professional dealings and attitude.
    • Maintaining a high level of site house- keeping and presentation.
    • Ensuring that company supplied equipment is well maintained and kept at a high standard of cleanliness.
    • Maintaining tools in a good and safe working order and calibrated as required.

    Design of gas enclosure

    • Own and deliver the CAD element projects from concept/kick-off meetings to project delivery and post contract support.
    • Produce detailed 3D layouts of fuel polishing units using Solidworks
    • Generate accurate BOM’s from Solidworks that will be directly inputted into the companies MRP system
    • Produce General drawings and fabrication drawings that confirm to BS8888
    • Read, interpret and synthesise P&ID drawings
    • Work within the Engineering team to develop and sign off engineering designs and drawings before they are passed to manufacturing to ensure flawless manufacture.

    Project supervision

    • Provide Engine, Generator and Balance of Plant commissioning.
    • Provide a high level of technical ‘rapid response’ support undertaking mechanical and electrical trouble-shooting in order to minimize engine unavailability.
    • Provide mobile and flexible field service support where and when required.
    • Ensure that problem jobs are seen through to completion and to required standards of quality.
    • Document service visits and complete commissioning documentation, in accordance with agreed standards of reporting.
    • Train engineers and customers as and when required.
    • Liaise with internal departments to gather and share relevant information to assist in the process of problem-solving and effective decision making.
    • Communicate with internal and external customers, Manager, Field Service Manager and Field Service Support and Commissioning Manager ensuring that all parties are kept fully informed in a timely and appropriate manner.
    • Observe and follow Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and regulations at all times.
