    Consultant, Recruitment and HR Services

    An HR services/consulting organization in Lagos is currently recruiting for the role of a Consultant for its Recruitment and HR Services unit.

    Job Summary

    The job holder will administer various HR operational activities to business clients. Responsibilities will cover the services below:

    Recruitment Services

    • Handle recruitment requests from clients (end-to-end)
    • Maintain a database of qualified and skilled people for various positions.
    • Develop job descriptions to fit positions based on clients’ needs and expectations.
    • Deal with queries/requests for information from clients, prospects and candidates in a professional and timely manner.
    • Search CV database, sites and social media channels for qualified candidates and establish contact with them regarding available roles.
    • Upload job adverts into external websites, job portals, and company website.
    • Arrange for interviews deploying the most efficient means.
    • Sifting CVs and subsequent short listing of candidates for interview.
    • Produce interview reports of successfully shortlisted candidates for clients’ assessment.
    • Manage company’s social media channels and e-portal, especially for recruitment purposes.

    Background Checks Services

    • Oversee employment background checks services for clients covering;
    • Certificate/credential verification
    • Past employer verification
    • Guarantor verification
    • Personal reference check
    • Residence verification
    • Credit worthy verification (with third parties)
    • Criminal reference/character check

    Training Services

    • Collate online information and resources needed for training activities (internally and externally)
    • Organize and develop or obtain, training procedure manuals and guides and course materials such as handouts and visual materials.
    • Offer specific/bespoke training programs to help clients address training gaps in their workforce.
    • Facilitate trainings
    • Provide administrative support to facilitators during training sessions

    Business Development

    • Develop income generating ideas for business growth of the various HR services in the company.
    • Actively engage in online and offline marketing activities for business growth

    Public Relations

    • Exercise initiative, judgment and tact at ensuring client enquiries, concerns and service-related issues are resolved adequately.
    • Portray positive image by ensuring that the organization’s values are displayed in the discharge of assigned duties.
    • Represent the executive/company at business or social functions as the need arises.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in related courses
    • Professional certification in Human Resources is preferred
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an array of HR services (ideally from a Consulting organization)
    • Ability to use HR software applications
    • Integrity and an accountable personality
    • Result-oriented, self-motivated, team-spirited and meticulous
    • Ability to relate and work with others to increase productivity and achieve results
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

    Senior Technician / Team Lead

    Our client is into the sales and distribution of electrical appliances such as Air Conditioners, Automatic Voltage Stabilizers. The company also offers after-sales services such as Installation, Servicing, and Repairs.

    BASIC FUNCTION

    To manage projects and service engagements ensuring proper planning, resourcing and supervision to deliver against project goals.

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assume responsibility for projects and service engagements from start to finish
    • Liaise with clients and gain an understanding of their requirement and ensure that client expectations are managed
    • Make necessary plans for project execution including getting needed resources released for the assignment
    • Supervise and direct technicians to effectively execute projects and service engagements.
    • Manage resources including personnel and materials and ensure that costs are optimized
    • Ensure that tasks and duties are diligently and effectively completed on time.
    • Review outcomes with clients and ensure that agreed customer goals are achieved
    • Ensure that company assets are always deployed professionally and kept in good condition.
    • Ensure that personnel are provided with necessary safety training and equipment for their tasks and ensure adherence to safety standards on site.
    • Keep management informed and updated on project developments on site.
    • Keep the accounts department informed on project status and ensure that invoices are raised as appropriate.
    • Carry out any other related duties, as may be required.

    EDUCATION
    Minimum of WASC. Vocational Training Diploma or OND Certificate will be an advantage.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Good communications skills
    • Good Planning Skills
    • Supervisory Skills

      5 years post-qualification experience in HVAC. Experience in Team Leadership.
