    Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA / QC) Shutdown Engineer

    Tasks

    • As part of Full Field Shutdown preparation Team you are in charge of all related QA/QC & welding, from design, prefabrication to Installation.
    • Prepare FFSD QA/QC activities offshore according to international regulations & TOTAL GS.
    • Prepare welding consumables estimation.
    • Participate in the permit to work and getting it approved.
    • Implements with Contractor Shutdown Coordinator any QA/QC Assessment as required.
    • Create QA/QC procedures; assess contractors' personnel and equipment for suitability for the work.
    • Provides technical input on contractor and consultant selection with Inspection/NDT content.
    • Ensure WPR and Welder Qualification are up to date.
    • Verifies that material supplied and prefabrication are matching expectations.
    • Manage a Team of Material QA/QC and QA Inspectors.

    Profile

    • HND / B.Sc in Engineering Profession + applicable professional certification in Welding.
    • 10 years post certification experience in fabrication using cooper nickel pipes, Duplex/Super-Duplex and accessories.
    • ISO QA/QC Certification.

    Candidate Criteria:
    Minimum level of experience required: 10 years or more

    Required Authorisations:

    • HND / BSC. in Engineering Profession + applicable professional certification in Welding.  
    • 10 years post certification experience in fabrication using cooper nickel pipes, Duplex/Super-Duplex and accessories.
    • ISO QA/QC Certification

    Languages:

    • English (D-Full professional proficiency)

    Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Engineer

    Tasks

    • As part of Full Field Shutdown preparation Team you are in charge of all related Safety aspect, from engineering to Installation.
    • Review FFSD safety activities such as confined space, work at height, hot work, offshore, according to HSE regulations.
    • Develop HSE Plan & Procedures.
    • Prepare the permit to work and getting it approved.
    • Implements with Contractor Shutdown Coordinator any Risk Assessment of Job Safety Analysis as required.
    • Assess contractors' personnel and equipment for suitability for the work.
    • Provide technical input on contractor and consultant selection HSE content.

    Profile

    • BSc/HND / OND + applicable professional certificates in safety. i.e. NIBOSH
    • 5 years cognate experience in oil & gas industry.

    Candidate criteria:
    Minimum level of experience required:

    • 6 years or more.

    Languages:

    • English (D-Full professional proficiency).

    Structural Supervisor

    Activities

    • To supervise preparation, onshore prefabrication and onshore (occasionally offshore) erection of structural steel.
    • To check that contractor’s prefabrication and erection equipment are satisfactory operating and adequate for the job to be carried out.
    • To monitor progress of prefabrication and erection works and reports to Construction Superintendent on a daily basis.
    • To ensure that structural material are stored and maintained in adequate conditions. To monitor the management of material (whatever supplied by Company or contractor).
    • To daily co-ordinate with QA/QC inspectors.
    • To ensure that QA construction report is being prepared in accordance with Company specification, to co-ordinate with QA/QC section and to report to Construction Superintendent.
    • To ensure routine good housekeeping is performed on site by contractor.

    Safety:

    • To check that contractor’s erection equipment are safe.
    • To check Work Permits and ensuring all instructions are understood by performer and carried out according to established work practices.
    • To participate in establishing safe working conditions in close co-operation with HSE Department and Construction Superintendent.
    • To ensure that contractor’s safety equipment are in good working order and enforces safety rules and regulations.

    Essential Requirements

    • Minimum: B.Sc Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.
    • 2 years experience in the Oil and Gas sector.
    • Good command of written and spoken English.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

    Candidate criteria:
    Minimum level of experience required:

    • 3 years or more.

    Languages:

    • English (C-Professional working proficiency)
