    Provost

    Responsibilities

    • The Provost is the Chief Executive Officer and the Head of the College Academics, and responsible to the Governing Council.

    Required Qualifications
    Any interested candidate vying for the post must possess the following qualifications:

    • The Provost of the College shall be a Registered Nurse / Midwife / Public Health Nurse Educator with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria who shall possess the following Qualifications;
      • A Ph.D. Degree in any Nursing specialty with a minimum of seven (7) years teaching experience.
      • Teaching qualifications such as Diploma in Nursing Education (DNE), Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Post Graduate Diploma in Nursing Education (PGDNE), Professional Diploma in Education (PDE), Master's in Education (MED).
      • If a person with Ph.D in Nursing is not available, an experienced educator with Master's Degree in Nursing with a minimum of nine (9) years teaching experience in addition to the aforementioned teaching qualifications can be appointed as the Provost of the college.
      • Must possess strong academic, administrative and visionary qualities, he/she should be sound in policy formulation implementation and have a good human relation.
      • Must be morally, mentally, physically sound with proven integrity and free from financial embarrassment.
      • Shall have Current practicing Licence with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

    Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service
    The Salary is COMPCASS and the appointee shall enjoy any other benefits attached to the position of a Principal Officer of the College as approved by the State Government.

    College Registrar

    Responsibilities

    • The Registrar is responsible to the Provost for the day-to-day administration of the College and shall perform such other duties as the Governing Council may require as the case may be, as well as the Provost may from time to time require him/her to do.
    • He/she is one of the Principal Officers of the College.
    • He/she heads the Registry Department and is the custodian of the College's official documents.
    • He/she is the Secretary to the Council, the Academic Board and any Standing Committee of the Council.

    Qualifications
    The candidate for the post must possess the following qualifications:

    • Holds a First Degree or Higher National Diploma in Social Sciences, Education, Arts, Humanities and other related courses from a recognised institution of higher learning;
    • Have a minimum of eighteen (18) years post qualification cognate experience for first degree and HND or Master's degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate experience or a Doctorate degree (PhD) in relevant discipline with a minimum of twelve (12) years post qualification cognate experience, at least ten (10) years of which must have been gained in a tertiary institution of learning;
    • Registered Member with relevant professional bodies recognized by the Government
    • Be currently on the rank of Deputy Registrar for a period not less than five (5) years in a higher institution of learning.
    • Demonstrate evidence of strong administrative leadership, initiative and creativity in administration, policy formulation, good human relation and positive managerial attributes;
    • Knowledgeable in the Public Service Rules and Regulations.
    • Provide evidence of membership of professional body/bodies recognized by the Government.
    • A person who is not likely to pursue racial, gender, political, religious or other sectional interest;
    • Morally sound of impeccable character, proven integrity and free from any financial embarrassment.

    College Bursar

    Responsibilities

    • The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the College.
    • He/she is responsible to the Provost for the day to day administration and control of the financial affairs of the College.
    • He/she is one of the Principal Officers of the College.
    • He/she heads the Bursary department and the custodian of the College finances.

    Qualifications
    The candidate for the post must possess the following qualifications;

    • First Degree with at least a second class lower division or Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a lower credit in Accountancy or any Finance-related courses from a recognized institution of higher learning;
    • Have a minimum of eighteen (18) years post qualification cognate experience for First Degree and HND Holders or Master's Degree, with a minimum of fifteen (15) years post qualification cognate experience or Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in relevant discipline with a minimum of twelve (12) years post qualification cognate experience, with at least ten (10) years working experience of which must have been gained in a College or any Tertiary Education Institution
    • Registration with ICAN or ANAN
    • Currently on the rank not below Chief Accountant, Deputy Bursar or Deputy Director Audit as the case may be for a period not less than five (5) years in the College or any related tertiary institution.
    • Demonstrate evidence of strong financial and administrative leadership, initiative and creativity in financial policy formulation, good human relation and positive managerial attributes.
    • Knowledgeable in the Financial Rules and Regulations.
    • Provide evidence of membership of professional body/bodies;
    • Person who is not likely to trigger racial, gender, political, religious or other sectional interest in the system;
    • Morally sound of impeccable character, proven integrity and free from financial embarrassment.

    College Librarian

    Responsibilities

    • The College Librarian is the Chief Library Officer and shall be responsible to the Provost for the administration of the College Library and the coordination of the Library services under the teaching unit of the College.
    • He/she is one of the Principal Officers of the College.
    • In addition to proven experience in library management and leadership, the successful candidate must have a demonstrable passion for academic endeavors and must also be credible.

    Qualifications
    The candidate for the post must possess the following

    • Master's Degree from a well-recognized Institution in the Library Science or Library and Information Technology/Science, while possession of a Doctorate Degree (Ph.D.) is an added advantage;
    • Have a minimum of second class lower division Degree or a minimum of lower credit in Higher National Diploma (HND) in Library Science or Library and Information Science from a recognized Institution;
    • Minimum of eighteen (18) years cognate experience in tertiary institution of which at least ten (10) years must have been gained in the system or similar institution.
    • Demonstrate evidence of strong academic and administrative leadership, initiative and creativity in Library Policy Formulation, Good Human Relation, and Positive Managerial Attributes.
    • Provide evidence of membership of professional body/ bodies in Library recognized by Government;
    • Provide evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals as well as presentation of invited papers at educational/library conferences, seminars and workshops.
    • A person who is not likely to pursue racial, gender, political, religious or other sectional interest.
    • Morally sound, of impeccable character, proven integrity and free from any financial embarrassment.
    • Proficient in Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

    Terms of Appointment and Conditions of Service
