    Locker Room Attendant

    The Locker room attendant at Lakowe Lakes Hospitality checks, monitors, and ensures that all the locker rooms at the Sports Center are clean and function well. Their duties include assisting with customers with minor errands, assigning them to their lockers, and keeping spaces secure and organized. Also, they can do other tasks such as providing clean towels, polishing client's foot ware, and checking the availability of supplies and other resources.

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

    • Pick up keys at security in the morning.
    • Prepares Locker Rooms for full service each morning.
    • Maintains bulletin boards with current and relevant information.
    • Restock all vanity products and towel supply.
    • Drops off dirty linens and pick-ups clean linens in the laundry area.
    • Performs personal services such as shoe shines, replacing shoe laces, and minor shoe repairs
    • Provides for the safety and security of all members and guests personal property
    • Manages the sales, payment collection and cleanliness of the mini pro shop at the Sports Center
    • Clean and maintain complete locker room (locker area) which includes; sweeping floors, picking up trash, bussing tables, and picking up towels from men and women bathroom.
    • Make sure umbrellas are out as weather permits
    • Supervises access control in and out of the locker room area
    • Maintain neat and orderly locker area. (Straightening of shoes, furniture and general clean up).
    • Communicates with members, co-workers, management and the general public in a courteous and professional manner.
    • Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
    • Drop off keys to security at the end of the day.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Maintenance Plumber Technician

    The Plumber at Lakowe Lakes is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems within the Corporate Lodge, Apartments in the Rental Pool, The Wine Bar, Sports Center and any other assigned facilities. The plumber is tasked with ensuring that he keeps good relationships with internal and external customers. He also needs to ensure hotel fixtures and fittings are maintained in a safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations arise. Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

    To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient, and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

    Maintenance and Repair

    • Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures, water, drainage and sprinkler
    • Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
    • Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, water heaters, toilets, etc.
    • Repair dishwashers and kitchen equipment that incorporate gas or water consumption.
    • Receive and complete work orders.
    • Select material and hardware and make time and materials estimates.
    • Maintain accurate records on material and labour used.
    • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
    • Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
    • Work with building principals and supervisors to complete projects.

    Ken Fix-it

    At Lakowe Lakes Hospitality the Ken Fix-it Technician is the first point of call during guest queries or request. He is expected to analyze the guests’ needs and fix it on the spot, or assign the task to the appropriate technician on duty. The Ken Fix-it should be specialized in general maintenance and well versed in Customer service. The successful candidate is expected to assist the Head of maintenance (Maintenance supervisor) in his absence.

    Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas

    Maintenance and Repair

    • Assist the Maintenance supervisor in maintenance of all the guest room, kitchen, public area complaints and facilities’ periodical preventive maintenance
    • To co-ordinate the activities and responsibility for its smooth operation which involves the nature of the Maintenance department related to each guest room and as a whole
    • Perform willingly and analyze regular operation and task based on discussion and encourage suggestions for improvement.
    • Assist the Maintenance supervisor on daily assignments in term of quantity and quality for the Facilities operation checklist, Guest room comfort, scheduled Periodical Preventive Maintenance, Plan Preventive Maintenance, Plant Preventive Maintenance, treatment and instrument testing, inclusive pre and pro task to eliminate and provide suitable and better quality guest service.
    • Maintain and apply constant courtesy, proper communication and co-ordination when attending to guest. Personal discipline and housekeeping principle to ensure.

    Maintenance Electrician Technician

    The Maintenance Electricians at Lakowe Lakes Hospitality are responsible for the general upkeep of the electrical system within the Corportate Lodge, apartments in the Rental Pool, Sports Center and The Wine Bar. They are required to inspect the premises of all assigned facilities regularly, conduct routine maintenance, perform repairs, and fix faulty wiring when necessary. They may also be required to replace electrical appliances.

    To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety and comfort should be your top priority. Ideal candidates will be patient, and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills.

    As an Electrician, you will be expected to will repair, maintain, install and monitor electrical equipment through the hotel and respond to Guest, Manager, Team Member, and emergency requests promptly. Specifically, an Electrician will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

    Maintenance and Repair

    • Inspect on a routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
    • Determine the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components, and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem.
    • Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remains at full functioning capacity.
    • Test systems with devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible.
    • Review blueprints to understand the placement of wiring or to comprehend the working of the equipment to provide the right service and repairs.
    • Provide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.
    • Keep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.
    • Ensure all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs.
