    Human Resource Manager

    Description

    Our organisation, CLEWSI is looking to hire a Human Resource Manager for IMMEDIATE employment who will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with various departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures

    • handling of compensation and monthly payroll for all staff 

    • Manages the talent acquisition process, which will  include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles;  

    • Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

    • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.

    • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

    • develop and recommend  best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

    • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Competency/Skill/Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

    • A minimum of 3-5 years of human resource management experience is preferably NGO 

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.

    Finance Manager

    Job Description

    • CLEWSI seeks to employ a qualified and experienced person into the position of Finance Manager who will be responsible for the financial health of the organisation, producing financial reports and developing strategies based on financial research to guide Management in making sound financial decisions in the short and long terms.

    • The Finance Manager will also perform a variety of advanced financial analyses to determine present and forecasted financial health of the organization.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling, and submitting reports, analysing industry trends, and assessing the financial health of the organization.

    • Oversee the operations and development of the CLEWSIs finance department including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

    • Supervise the preparation of periodic account reconciliations, monitor, and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, and assist with cash flow forecasting.

    • Advise staff,the Executive Management and the Board on sound decisions related to the CLEWSI’s finances as well as wise and profitable investment options

    • Supervise the documentation of the CLEWSI’s financial status and forecasts.

    • Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, partners, external auditors, and investors on financial issues for amicable resolution of differences.

    • Create strategic plans based on the analysis of CLEWSI’s status and financial forecasts.

    • Produce and share periodic/quarterly reports with the ED, Management team, the Board, and partners.

    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by CLEWSI’s Management.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • B.Sc. / HND in Finance / Accounting or related discipline (essential).

    • Possession of ICAN or ANAN certification is an added advantage

    • A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a Finance Manager (essential).

    • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

    • Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.

    • Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.

    • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    • Excellent report-writing and communication skills.

    • Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and other financial accounting and planning software.

    Procument Officer

    Qualification: BA/BSc/HND

    • Experience :2 years

    • Location: Maiduguri

    • Job Field :Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain 

    Responsibilities

    • Implement procurement policies, processes, and strategies, ensuring plans are aligned with organizational objectives.

    • Develop and maintain effective long-term relationships with existing and potential suppliers in the industry.

    • Conduct periodic supplier/contractor performance evaluations for quality improvement and provide/discuss outcomes with suppliers.

    • Manage regulatory compliance procedures related to procurement.

    • Develop or improve procedures to maintain the efficiency of sourcing operations.

    • Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

    • Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations.

    • Keep abreast of changing industry trends.

    • Compile and maintain a purchasing manual.

    • Following and enforcing the company’s process.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification with at least 2 years work experience.

    • Solid knowledge and understanding of processes, policies and systems.

    • Proficient computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Ability to negotiate, establish and administer contracts.

    • Talent in negotiations and networking.

    • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.

    • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.

    • Strong leadership capabilities.

    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently.
