    NMC Operator

    Job Objective

    • To provide first and second level support on all Company’s products and services. To configure, monitor and manage the Company’s Content Delivery Network, to ensure maximum service availability to external and internal customers by providing efficient operations and maintenance support.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform network surveillance 24/7, respond to network-reported and customer-reported problems and manage problem resolution using network monitoring/management tools.
    • Take ownership to ensure that all problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Escalate problems to third level support (Problem management team) where these cannot be resolved within the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
    • Perform general “system administration” tasks on all elements of the network.
    • Perform documented network configuration procedures.
    • Pro-actively monitor network and system performance.
    • Analyze traffic data and trends and escalate areas of concern to officer on duty.
    • Through pro-active and systematic review, discover problem areas which could negatively impact system performance or customer satisfaction.
    • Provide scheduled and on-demand traffic analysis reports.
    • Maintains inventory of equipment acquisitions, installations, designs, and modifications.
    • Generate weekly and monthly reports on diesel delivery/consumption and Monitor generator capacity and mileage.
    • Monitors the Network Monitoring System and responds to and addresses system generated alerts as needed.
    • Monitors and ensures the stability of the network infrastructure hosting Network Monitoring System.
    • Facilities maintenance (monitoring and management of air-conditioning, UPS, generators, power usage, running health and safety and housekeeping checks at Company’s POPs).
    • Optimizes Company’s network performance and clients service delivery meeting.
    • QOC metrics per client SLA’s.
    • Employees will be required to follow any other job‐related instructions to perform.

    Job Requirements
    Academic Qualification:

    • B.Sc / HND in Computer Science / Engineering or other related Course

    Experience:

    • 2+ years experience as network engineer preferable in an ISP/Telco environment.

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Self-motivated and capable of working in a cross‐functional team.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills, good telephone manner.
    • Practical, accurate and precise.
    • Good knowledge of enterprise‐class IP infrastructure (routers/switches/firewalls).
    • Experience of network management.
    • Good knowledge of networking equipment administration.
    • Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification.
    • Confident in MS office applications (particularly Excel).
    • Able to work on a 24/7 shift Rotation and available for weekend/public holiday
    • Ability to efficiently and effectively perform the technical requirements
    • Solid troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills
    • Ability to prioritize effectively and work with a sense of urgency.

    NOC Engineer (Field)

    Job Objective

    • Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineers monitor large computer networks and servers for problems from a central location.
    • They analyze problems, perform troubleshooting and incident response on the system, communicate with site technicians, and track problems through to resolution.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform general “system administration” tasks on all elements of the network.
    • Discover problem areas that could negatively impact system performance or customer satisfaction
    • Proactively monitor network and system performance.
    • Analyze traffic data and trends and escalate areas of concern to the network design authority.
    • Escalate problems to third-level support (Problem management team) where these cannot be resolved within the Network Operations Centre (NOC).
    • Perform general “system administration” tasks on all elements of the network.
    • Perform network surveillance 24/7, respond to network‐reported and customer‐reported problems
    • Take ownership to ensure that all problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Manage problem resolution using network monitoring/management tools
    • Monitor key supplier's service levels and highlight where Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are not being met.

    Experience:

    • 2+ years experience as network engineer preferable in an ISP/Telco environment.

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong communications skills both written and verbal.
    • Capable of making solid, fact-based decisions under pressure.
    • Ability to work well in an international, multi-cultural, and high-pressure technical environment.
    • Technical experience in a telecommunications or network operations environment.
    • Very Good understanding of wireless communications technology

    RF-Planning Engineer

    Responsibilities

    • Serves as the lead resource for advanced monitoring, troubleshooting and review of radio network Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
    • Primarily responsible for Quality RF link for corporate clients.
    • Handle Analysis of KPIs, investigation and improvement of AP radio quality delivery.
    • Co-ordination with the field engineers for rectifying radio link problems and improving the link performance and quality.
    • Coordinate the test activities.
    • Initiate optimization actions, follow-up and achieve optimal on radio AP/CPE performance
    • Coordinate with field teams to ensure recommendation on client’s link optimization is achieved.
    • Perform RF planning and Network optimization for link quality for corporate clients
    • Leads RF team to field work to ensure clients’ links problem resolution
    • Provides capacity planning and growth strategies for AP and CPE
    • Develop training materials and host training sessions for RF teams
    • Coordinate with vendors on major problems on RF products
    • Implementation of RF workout recommendation defined by RF Manager

    Job Requirements

    • Academic Qualification: BSc / HND qualification in Telecommunication Engineering
    • Experience: 5+ years’ experience as network engineer preferable in an ISP/Telco environment.

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong communications skills both written and verbal.
    • Independent problem solver combined with strong team orientation.
    • Advanced understanding of RF propagation principles, cellular theory, RF engineering tools and antenna theory.
    • Skilled with test & measurement equipment like Signal Sources, Network Analyzers, Vector Signal Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Google Earth etc.
    • Understanding of digital modulation schemes such as QPSK, 8PSK, QAM and can analyze system level front end requirements for set top box applications (link budgets, phase noise, noise figure, linearity, and spurious frequency analysis, etc.)
    • Ability to work well in high pressure technical environment.
    • 5-7 years’ experience within the wireless industry troubleshooting, optimizing, and designing wireless communication sites.
    • Good understanding of wireless communications systems
    • Cisco Certified Network Associates (CCNA) and Wireless Certified Network Professionals (CWNP) preferable.

    System Engineer (Testlab)

    Responsibilities

    • Primarily responsible to certify quality and Performance of Network equipment.
    • Ensure all equipment for site installation pass the Performance Bench test.
    • Receive equipment from store and prepare it for site installation.
    • Carryout upgrades on equipment firmware and test the upgrade version functionality for compliance.
    • Create manuals and detailed sets of instructions for testing and upgrade procedures.
    • Monitor and test equipment performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with vendor to implement any fixing procedure.
    • Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools for test lab.
    • Carryout our deep test on Modems.
    • Liaise with vendors and other involved personnel for problem resolution on telecom equipment.
    • Carryout verification and performance test on returned and new equipment.
    • Examine returned network equipment to find out defective component on it.
    • Responsible for simulating field scenarios in the lab to check and identify complaints on returned network equipment.
    • Provide analysis report on test equipment
    • Provide daily report and monthly report on the tested equipment

    Academic Qualification

    • B.Sc / HND in Electrical Electronic / Computer Engineering or other related Course.

    Experience

    • 3+ years of technical experience in a telecommunications or network operations environment.

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Independent problem solver combined with strong team orientation.
    • Ability to do components functionality test on Telecommunication devices.
    • Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
    • Knowledgeable in cisco switch configuration and troubleshooting.
    • Good understanding of telecommunication equipment operation.
    • Have proved technical analysis on telecommunication devices.
    • Good experience of multi-vendor telecommunication equipment.

    Food Laboratory Technician

    Location: Warewa, Ogun

    Job Purpose:

    • Food science techs work independently or provide technical support inlaboratoryanalysis,food product development, processing, food microbiology, research or quality assurance, or regulatory positions.
    • They usually work in alaboratory, conducting food experiments, cleaning up, and helping food scientists.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze test results to classify products, or compare results with standard tables.
    • Compute moisture or salt content, percentages of ingredients, formulas, or other product factors, using mathematical and chemical procedures.
    • Conduct standardized tests on food, beverages, additives, and preservatives in order to ensure compliance with standards and regulations regarding factors such as color, texture, and nutrients.
    • Examine chemical and biological samples in order to identify cell structures, and to locate bacteria, or extraneous material, using a microscope.
    • Prepare slides and incubate slides with cell cultures.
    • Provide assistance to food scientists and technologists in research and development, production technology, and quality control.
    • Record and compile test results, and prepare graphs, charts, and reports.
    • Clean and sterilize laboratory equipment.
    • Measure, test, and weigh bottles, cans, and other containers in order to ensure hardness, strength, and dimensions that meet specifications.
    • Mix, blend or cultivate ingredients in order to make reagents or to manufacture food or beverage products.
    • Order supplies needed to maintain inventories in laboratories or in storage facilities of food or beverage processing plants.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Food Science / Technology, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Microbiology or Chemistry.
    • Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a Food Technologist.
    • Possession of a food-related postgraduatequalificationwill be an added advantage.
