    Investment Officer

    An Investment company is looking for a well-organized and analytical Investment officer (IO) to manage the company’s investment portfolio. The IO will identify business opportunities; secure investments that promote the financial interests of the organization; provide insight and direction; lead investment teams; complete all fund transactions and effectively maintain portfolio developments.

    The successful candidate must possess a sound understanding of all investment policies and guidelines, demonstrate excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and maintain a strong professional work ethic. Main accountabilities and Job responsibilities are as outlined below.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Operations

    • Establish effective and well-organized investment processes.
    • Lead the investment strategy unit within the company.
    • Manage investments for the company and its investee companies
    • Provide expert knowledge on all investment and financial activities for projects, and manage project portfolio
    • Write clear and well-informed investment recommendations based on thorough research and analysis.
    • Analyze all client requirements and determine appropriate investment strategies for the organization
    • Review quarterly financial statements and remain up-to-date with any important valuation or policy changes.
    • Perform regular administration duties for all investment files.
    • Provide an interface with Investment Committee and recommend new changes to existing investment policies and submit to management for approval.
    • Hire and train all employees in investment activities, evaluate performance and resolve all issues within the investment team.
    • Achieve annual investment targets

    Reporting

    • Organize regular investment portfolio reports and performance reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio studies, and prepare a required report for management in accordance with company policies.
    • Prepare and submit all client reports to clients and management as per requirement.
    • Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports for management as required.

    Business Development

    • Build new client relationships and help manage and uphold current client relationships.
    • Develop and maintain knowledge on all market securities plans and manage all portfolio management products.

    Requirements/Core Skills:

    • A degree in finance or a relevant field from an accredited institution.
    • Certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) will be an added advantage
    • A minimum of 5-8 years related work experience.
    • A minimum of 3 to 4 years in a leadership/supervisory role with strong experience leading, supervising and motivating a team of investment professionals.
    • Strategic thinker and proficient in decision-making.
    • Strong knowledge of return generation strategies
    • Strong knowledge of all asset classes
    • Strong knowledge of various investment products
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Excellent leadership skills
    • Ability to juggle multiple projects
    • Ability to communicate effectively and in a professional manner.

    Sales Manager- Decorative

    Job Introduction –

    4. Administratively Reports to (ART) : General Manager

    Job Objectives –

    Sr. Sales Executives Job is to develop sales plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales, goals and profitability in consultation with Sales Head / General Manager. The role manages the sale of the company’s products and services in defined geographical areas. To ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through planning, deployment and management of sales personnel. To develop customer relationships and intimacy.

    Job Requirements –

    1. Excessive travelling is required in and around Nigeria/West Africa.
    2. As per the need of the business, the job is transferrable and posting can be made anywhere in Nigeria/West Africa.
    3. Candidate with chemistry / chemical / paint technology background.
    4. Candidate with experience in selling decorative paint/paint chemicals/construction chemicals or other industrial products.

    Job Responsibilities –

    Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

    Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality or quantity.

    Sales Strategy – Prepare a sales plan with a road map to achieve the planned business objectives through identification and tapping new business opportunities; with profit responsibility.

    To manage the implementation of all the relevant applicable SOP’s. To ensure business transactions are executed as per given prices and policies.

    To explore new business opportunities and ventures for business growth.

    Day to Day Management –

    To manage the day to day operations of sales region gathering information,  share inputs, encouraging team work and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance standards.

    To make regular customer visit for sales development and facilitate customers for various projects and probabilities to boost sales.

    To develop dealer network in each state as per assigned territory/region and promote them for higher coverage in the assigned state.

    To performs sales activities for various customers in close coordination with Sales/Product Manager.

    Customer Relationship – To develop new customer base and sustain existing business by periodic customer meeting, conducting various customer trials and managing effective customer intimacy.

    To facilitate FRT/ART in building accurate profiling for the customer to explore new business opportunities and right product promotion.

    Key Accounts – To focus actively on Key Accounts and seek support from various functional teams/management where appropriate to ensure prompt solutions to their satisfaction.

    Projects tracking on a continuous basis to Judge the market potential for key products and striving to widen the customer base through extensive research.

    To build accurate and detailed profiling for the key accounts to explore new business opportunities.

    Sales Targets – To ensure Sales Targets are achieved as per assigned product and region/key accounts wise through managing the effective sales strategy and follow-up to ensure accomplishment of sales operational plans.

    To assess the various information tools, identify business opportunities and pinpoint bottleneck areas to further increase sales volume, market share and profitability

    Budget – To prepare and recommend sales budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget to ensure business alignment.
