    Head, Sales & Marketing

    Our client is a group of company with business interest cuts across Manufacturing; Communications; Consumable Product Sales; Security & Safety etc. They seek to engage the services of a Highflyer Head of Sales & Marketing for immediate employment.

    Job Summary:

    The job holder has the responsibility of increasing the organizations bottom-line and its market share; coordinate sales and marketing officers; ensure sales targets are achieved; develop sales & marketing strategy and its execution. You will win new business; maintain good relationships with existing and new/potential customers’ to ensure incessant business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Day to day management of the sales team ensuring they are on track for achieving KPI’s.
    • Setting sales and marketing KPI’s to manage activity within the team.
    • Overseeing all marketing activity and ensuring it fits with the marketing strategy.
    • Promote the company's existing brands and introduce new products to the market.
    • Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understand consumer requirements, identify market trends, and propose improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
    • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies and initiatives.
    • Develop sales channels selling into dealer market, special retail markets and super marts.
    • Visit customer with the sales executives to support close sales if required.
    • Prepare quotes and respond to customers for improving sales.
    • Represent company at trade shows, associations and meetings to promote products and programs.
    • Train the sales team on sales techniques; motivate and giving advice regularly.
    • Ensuring the sales team update the sales software with all appropriate data as at when due.
    • Performance managing underperforming members of the sales team.
    • Arranging for the company to attend relevant industry events and conferences.
    • Give regular report on activities towards achieving sales targets to the company directors.
    • Work with the Human Resources unit to recruit & train, coach the marketing and sales teams to meet sales and marketing human resource objectives.
    • Any other duty of similar responsibility that will ensure sales targets are met and exceeded

    Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

    • Relevant educational degree
    • At least ten (10) years selling consumer goods out of which three (3) years must be in managerial position.
    • Strategic marketing and sales pitch skills
    • Excellent communication & Interpersonal skills
    • Motivation/Leadership/Supervisory 
    • Strategy & Analytics
    • Genuine motivation for success
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office

    Salary:

    N200,000- N250,000
