• We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Operations to lead and optimize the operational activities of our dynamic logistics firm, specializing in sea freight, courier services, fleet management, and air freight.
• As the Head of Operations, you will be at the forefront of managing the complexities of international logistics, driving operational excellence, and ensuring the seamless movement of goods across a diverse range of services.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight for all operational functions, encompassing sea freight, courier services, fleet management, and air freight.
• Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of operations professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across all logistics services.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and exceed customer expectations in each segment of the business.
• Global Network: Expand and manage our global network of partners, carriers, and agents, maintaining the highest levels of service quality in every logistics service.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, safety standards, and courier industry standards.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain and enhance quality control processes to uphold the company's commitment to excellence across all logistics operations.
• Cost Management: Develop and manage the operations budget, control expenses, and optimize resource allocation in a multi-faceted logistics environment.
• Performance Metrics: Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analysis to make informed decisions and drive operational performance in sea freight, courier services, fleet management, and air freight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 4+ years relevant work experience.
• Substantial leadership experience in sea freight, courier, fleet management, and air freight operations, with at least 4years in senior management roles within the logistics industry.
• In-depth knowledge of international logistics, customs procedures, international trade regulations, and courier industry standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication abilities to effectively oversee diverse logistics operations.
• Proficiency in relevant logistics and supply chain software and tools.
