    General Manager, Operations

    Main Purpose:

    • Ensure general and specific oversight function in the operations management of the business; that fast food outlets and industrial catering units deliver on targets.
    • Collaborate in functional business activities with unit leaders to ensure operations continuity without hindrance.
    • Oversee directly, the activities of the central store control unit of our operations for effective and efficient production materials stocking and delivery.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the corporate operations management team, set targets and assign roles to persons and units periodically.
    • Coordinate performance of each task in operations management and drive processes and strategies to achieve effective service delivery in Human Resources Management, Finance, HSE, Audit, QA/QC, Business Development and Corporate Affairs.
    • Oversee fast food outlets operations to ensure effective daily service delivery and customer service with delight, maintenance of existing clientele, improve sales with increased market share.
    • Monitor stock orders, deliveries, warehousing and utilization efficiencies through enforcement of standard operating procedures.
    • Oversee the industrial catering activities, contract sourcing, bidding, site visit and job execution.
    • Monitor diverse operational points, establish structure and apply corrective action where necessary.
    • Spot check operational units periodically for policy alignment, feedback, job execution inspection, staff and client liaison.
    • Interface other organs of the company for effective performance.
    • Ensure the company fleet is in top serviceable condition geared towards smooth operations with no room for vehicular breakdown.
    • Any other task that shall be assigned to this office by the president/CEO.

    Requirements for the position:

    • Minimum HND or B.Sc in food or non-food related discipline
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office
    • Minimum 5 years experience in the quick service restaurant (QSR) 
    • business or in an industrial/commercial catering set up
    • Additional professional certification(s) in hospitality and/or HSE (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc) and/or other related professional industry certifications
