    Chief Financial Officer

    Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

    Reporting Line: CEO / Board of Directors

    Job Summary

    • Manage all the financial concerns of the business including planning, forecasting, budgeting and treasury management.
    • Also, ensure timely and up to date management reports and financial statements.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for the financial analysis of the company as well as providing financial information to top management that is sure to aid strategic business decisions.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
    • Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budget planning
    • Risk management - Provide advice to management on effective ways of mitigating operational, financial and reputational risk
    • Handle all compliance matters within the organization, Tax, Legal and regulatory
    • Responsible for cutting costs, improving productivity and assisting in developing sound pricing strategies
    • Work within the organization to build relationships with other functional areas to determine what their needs and opportunities for growth are
    • Represent the company externally to bankers and investors to harness opportunities the company has for growth
    • Identify business challenges and proffer the right solutions
    • Develop and implement strategies for the organization to achieve its set goals and objectives
    • Advisory on long-term business and financial planning with the aim of driving profitability
    • Preparation of the organization’s reconciliation statements
    • Ensure timely lodgments of cash and cheque receipts to the company’s bank accounts and Maintain relationship and interface with the company’s bankers
    • Obtain and manage investor relations
    • Oversee the preparation of all financial reporting statements
    • Ensure that all expenditures are ratified/verified by the internal control unit
    • Oversee the preparation and updates of VAT payable schedules on a monthly basis
    • Generation of debtors/creditors’ monthly report
    • Preparation and updating of fixed assets register and fixed assets disposal register
    • Computation of monthly depreciation to be charged to profit and loss account.
    • Oversee the preparation and update of creditors, provision and accruals schedules
    • Oversee the preparation and update of rental income schedule on a monthly basis
    • Generation of the following reports on a monthly basis:
      • Profit and Loss Report
      • Balance Sheet
      • Trial Balance
      • Nominal Ledger
      • Journals
      • Management Report
    • Preparation of monthly management accounts and schedules supporting the balances.
    • Carry out monthly analysis of the business
    • Any other assignments were given by management.

    Qualifications

    • First Degree in Finance, Investment Management, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting.
    • Professional Accreditation (ACA), CFA
    • 8 - 10 years cognate work experience as a Financial or Banking or Management Accountant
    • The last 3 - 4 years of which must have been in a management role within a reputable and structured organisation (financial institution, trading business etc.)

    Executive Assistant

    Reporting Line: CEO

    Job Summary

    • One of our clients seeks to hire an executive assistant that will provide support and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO.
    • He/she will also serve as a liaison to the board of directors and senior management teams.
    • He/she will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing special projects.
    • The executive assistant must be creative and should be one who enjoys working within an environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community-oriented.
    • The ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations is pertinent for this role.
    • Strong communication, administrative / organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities will be required from the ideal candidate.
    • He/she should also have the ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure.
    • The ability to handle a variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion is also important.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments
    • Compose and prepare correspondence that may be sometimes confidential
    • Arrange complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas
    • Compile documents for travel-related engagements
    • Plan, coordinate, and ensure schedules are followed and respected
    • Provide "gatekeeper" and "gateway" roles while working closely with the CEO
    • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of sensitive or confidential nature
    • Determine appropriate course of actions, referrals, or responses
    • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the office of the CEO and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management staff
    • Keep the CEO well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities
    • Provide leadership in managing a variety of special projects, some of which may have organizational impacts
    • Successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks that facilitate the CEO's ability to effectively lead the company.
    • Follow up on contacts made by the CEO and support the cultivation of ongoing relationships.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of a B.Sc in any field with proven experience as an executive assistant
    • Minimum of 3 years experience as an executive assistant to a CEO
    • Must reside in Lagos specifically around the Lekki / Epe Axis and be willing to work full time
    • Strong communication and listening skills
    • Ability to blend office and personal brands effectively
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to work perfectly with limited supervision
    • Proficient use of Microsoft tools.

    Printing Machine Operator

    Responsibilities

    • Efficiently operate all equipment related to printing
    • Supervise assistants, co-operate and co-ordinate activities with co-operators
    • Examine job orders to determine details such as quantity to be printed, production times, substrate required colours and colour sequences
    • inspect and review printed products to check for print clarity, colour accuracy, conformance to specialization, external defects and make adjustments where necessary.
    • Assist in the installation replacement and servicing of machine parts and supplies ie rollers, printing plates, screen, stencils, cylinders etc.

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum of SSCE/ O' level Certificate
    • Printing Machine Operators with 3 - 5 years experience in lithographic printing machines (HEIDELBERG)
    • Past experiences in printing press operations
    • Professional certification (valid printing / press).
