    Finance Specialist / Account Specialist - FMCG

    Position Overview

    • We're seeking a detail-oriented Finance Specialist and Account Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Value Added Tax (VAT), Withholding Tax (WHT), and Pay-As-You-Earn (PAYE) obligations, banking transactions, and possess expertise in using QuickBooks for efficient financial management.

    Responsibilities

    • Tax Management: Ensure timely preparation, filing, and payment of VAT, WHT, and PAYE obligations. Stay updated on tax regulations.
    • Banking Transactions: Monitor and reconcile bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure proper categorization.
    • QuickBooks Expertise: Use QuickBooks for financial records, bookkeeping, and report generation. Ensure accurate data entry, reconciliation, and maintenance of the company's financial records within QuickBooks.
    • Financial Reporting: Assist in crafting financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Data Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data by conducting regular audits and reviews. Identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
    • Vendor and Client Relations: Coordinate with vendors and clients to manage invoices, payments, and account reconciliations. Handle any inquiries related to financial transactions.
    • Assist in Budgeting: Collaborate with the finance team to assist in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets. Provide input and recommendations for financial planning and forecasting.
    • Compliance: Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and compliance requirements. Ensure adherence to financial and accounting standards.
    • Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members, management, and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in finance or accounting are a plus.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with a strong focus on VAT, WHT, PAYE, and banking transactions.
    • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management is essential.
    • Solid understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    Chemical Analyst - FMCG

    Job Summary

    • As a Chemical Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and safety of our spice products by performing chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
    • You will work alongside a dedicated team to support our commitment to delivering high-quality and sustainable products to our customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform chemical analyses on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure they comply with quality and safety standards.
    • Collect samples from various stages of production and storage, following established sampling procedures to maintain traceability.
    • Operate and maintain analytical instruments and equipment used in chemical testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results.
    • Analyze test results, interpret findings, and promptly report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped chemical laboratory to meet regulatory and internal quality standards.
    • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to develop and implement quality control procedures and assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed records of test results, standard operating procedures, and laboratory documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
    • Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards in the spice industry, ensuring that the company's products comply with all applicable laws and guidelines.
    • Work with the Research and Development team to evaluate and implement new chemical testing methods and technologies that enhance spice product quality and safety.
    • Effectively communicate findings, concerns, and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including Quality Control, Production, and Research and Development, to drive corrective actions and improvements in spice product quality.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related field
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a chemical analyst in an FMCG or a related industry.
    • Proficiency in operating and maintaining analytical instruments and equipment.
    • Strong understanding of chemical analysis techniques and quality control practices.
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles is a plus.

      • Assist clients seeking IVF services and provide them with relevant information.
    • Front Desk Duties:

      • Handle front desk responsibilities, including welcoming clients, providing assistance, and maintaining a professional and organized reception area.

    Strategic Responsibilities:

    • MD Facebook Live Program:

      • Coordinate all activities related to the Medical Director's monthly Facebook live program.
      • Ensure that the program runs smoothly and is engaging for the audience.
    • Creative Approvals:

      • Coordinate and obtain approvals for creatives that are forwarded to advertising agencies and internal staff.
      • Ensure that all creatives align with the facility's brand and messaging.
    • Doctor and Hospital Relationships:

      • Maintain a cordial and effective relationship with doctors and their affiliated hospitals.
      • Ensure that doctors receive appropriate and timely compensation for their services.
    • Learning and Growth:

      • Invest in personal and team learning and growth.
      • Prioritize the enhancement of employee competencies, promote the use of technology, and motivate employees to uphold integrity and professionalism.

    Job Requirements
    Education:

    • Possess a minimum of HND (minimum of Upper Credit) or B.Sc (minimum of 2nd Class Lower) in any Social Science or Supply Chain field

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant work experience
