Community Manager at TechQuest

Location: Lekki, Lagos

About the Role

• You will be responsible for leading, building, and maintaining TechQuest Communities and prepare them for TechQuest Community Engagements. Leading the community and owning the TechQuest brand, to attract new community members and fellows to the organization. Build models, metrics of success and growth strategies, ensuring long-term success and growth of our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Community Ecosystem Engagement.
• Define community building strategy for the organization.
• Deliver Community engagements and engagement materials.
• Develop programs and material to facilitate contribution on-ramp.
• Develop manage TechQuest STEM Expose engagements.
• Represent the organization at conferences, create opportunities to engage with relevant partners, organize / deliver Meetups.
• Provide community related support to Operations team.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and strong leadership skills.
• Deep understanding of the TechQuest Community will be a plus (other notable community experience will be accepted)
• Understanding of how to leverage technology and build scalable systems, programs, and team without compromising quality;
• Have outstanding written and spoken communication skills as well as good listening skills.
• Are a self-starter who can accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
