    Civil & Structural Engineer

    Services Objectives

    • To perform and achieve the Structural design of a plant or installation modifications or project fit for purpose; to perform studies in
      structures (Reinforced Concrete & Steelworks), vessels, piping, lay-out disciplines to enable estimates and/or construction.
    • Carries out studies and Supervises design contractors & ECPI contractors with work force up 10 Engineers and draftsmen
    • To prepare, propose and follow up on documentation, taking any necessary corrective actions.
    • To ensure awareness of and compliance with HSE rules and regulations by subordinates and contractors

    Job Description

    • Carry out preliminary, basic and detailed engineering studies/in-house design for the Civil and Structural
    • Engineering discipline for on/offshore projects.
    • Supervise engineering and installation works performed by contractors for on/offshore projects.
    • Interacts with third parties such as certifying bodies, Marine Warranty Surveyors, Regulators, etc. in assuring
    • Civil/Structural deliverables.
    • Quality Control and Assure Civil/Structural deliverables.
    • Prepares Civil and Structural General Arrangement Drawings, Specifications, Material Take Of( Design Reports, and other relevant deliverables.
    • Support Technical Evaluation of Civil/Structural Engineering Contractors/Vendors.
    • Prepare Civil and Structural Engineering Scope of Work and Cost Estimating, and support Call For Tenders (CFT) .
    • Interface with Procurement Dept., Survey and Geomatics, and Projects & Construction sections for resolution of Civil and Structural Engineering concerns.
    • Review and ensure that Civil and Structural Engineering deliverables conform with relevant National Standards, Project Particular Specifications, and International Standards.
    • Contribute to Safety Reviews such as Hazard Identification Studies {HAZID).
    • Participate and contribute in Job Risk Assessments (JRA), Constructability reviews, and others as required.
    • Ensures effective & timely response to technical queries in compliance with set standards, company specifications & safety procedures.
    • Ensures effective design studies for infrastructures produced by contractors

    HSE Responsibilities

    • Ensure and promote the application of the Company HSE rules and specifications
    • Ensure that contractors comply at all times with safety rules, taking actions as required in case of disregards of the rules, stopping the works if they are deemed unsafe, and organizing tool-box meetings and recovery plans
    • Ensure that personal HSE KPIs such as Annual Medical certification & other HSE PASS & Safety Pass requirements are up to date.
    • Promote safety culture within Company personnel and contractors as well as the reporting of anomalies
    • Ensure and monitor the safety of personnel and installations as well as protection of the environment.
    • Pursue within his team the HSE objectives defined by his line management.
    • Participate in HSE meetings as required

    Job Requirements

    • Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. / B.Eng (Structures) with 10-15 years experience in an Engineering Organization in a similar design position.
    • Use of Autocad & proficiency in use of SACS, STAADPro, NSO/ISYMOST (Fastrudl, Isymost) are a must.
    • Knowledge of AVEVA E3D and Microstation as well ability prepare detailed structural drawings a plus.
    • Demonstrable knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards (British Standards, Eurocodes, ISO, API , DNV, etc.)
    • Good Communication in English and Interpersonal skills

    Senior Structural Engineer

    Services Objectives

    Job Description

    • Carries out preliminary, basic & detailed engineering studies / in-house design for the structural discipline for onshore and offshore projects mainly (design basis, structural analysis incl. inplace, lifting & transportation cases, lay-out & 3D modelling, etc.).
    • Carries out and supervises as the case may be detailed engineering performed by Contractors and installation engineering.
    • Interacts with Third Parties such as Certifying bodies.
    • Ensures that the Engineering Contractors submit all deliverables on time and check it regularly.
    • Prepares structural general arrangement drawings, specifications, MTO, calculation notes.
    • Prepares structural design reports and local checks covering in-place analysis, lifting analysis, transportation analysis, load-out, sea fastening calculations, deck assessment, connections designs, etc.
    • Coordinates the activity of a draftsman for the execution of the structural drawings.
    • Support drawings, support lists, requisitions, load lists.
    • Carries out simplified stress analysis calculations and checks.
    • Prepares technical evaluations and approval of structural contractor’s drawings.
    • Reads and interprets facility engineering drawings, designs and make necessary modifications or recommendations.
    • Interfaces with Procurement Dept., Project & Construction Sections for structural engineering related issues.
    • Draws up & cross-check relevant procedures, international standards (API, AISC,ISO,etc) & COMPANY General Specifications.
    • Prepares CFT for structural activities and relevant technical evaluation.
    • Follows-up Purchase Orders to ensure timely approval.
    • Checks and approves structural engineering deliverables received from third parties.
    • Checks that the design is developed in line with the Pre-Project and the statement of requirements
    • Participates in HAZID / HAZOP and constructability review workshops and studies

    Senior Process Engineer

    Description

    • Carry out process engineering studies and provide assistance to any process activity needed to support operations at site. Follow up on implementation of Site Modification Request (SMRs) from initiation to completion Perform core PROCESS activities through the following:
    • Conduct process studies to support Field Operations in order to optimize production for Onshore/Offshore sites.
    • Review & contribute to formulation of Operating Philosophy for new projects
    • Review & contribute to formulation of Operations Manual for new projects and review/update existing ones
    • Provide Process design and know-how within JV Operations and other Departments and Divisions
    • Ensure that Process Documentation & Design complies with COMPANY Rules and Specifications and with International Standards and that it is kept updated
    • Ensure that all updated documents are sent to EDMS for processing
    • Provide process support for Onshore/Offshore commissioning, Start-up, Ramp-up & Shutdown
    • Ensure contact with process specialists in HQ and liaise with HQ for interaction of new Projects with existing facilities
    • Provide process assistance to Onshore/Offshore Operations for technical operating problems
    • Contribute to technical know-how of the team by coaching and supervising junior engineers
    • Provide assistance for any process activities across production sites as directed by Manager Process/SMR Participate in SMR process
    • Conduct process engineering studies to support development projects
    • Undertake de-bottleneck studies and recommend solutions to optimize existing installations (Safety, Environmental, Production, etc)
    • Carry out effective process design studies for SMR
    • Provide effective and timely response to technical queries / SMRs
    • Participate in site visits, pre-studies and basic studies for process-related modifications to existing installations
    • Ensure that all SMRs are carried out according to TEPNG SMR procedure and within a defined timeline
    • Track implementation of all SMRs through to completion
    • Participate in PTR / HAZOP / HAZID meetings
    • Support Contractors to prepare Scope of Work or review/validate process studies by Contractors
    • Follow-up on the implementation of SMRs with ECP and Site personnel through regular/periodic progress discussions and site visits
    • As a technical support function, the process engineer contributes to the operational stability, improvement of process and storage conditions and the accomplishment of oil and gas production targets through the overall technical monitoring and support to daily production operations.
    • Routine proposals for change modification of plant design through SMRs to minimize production shortfall and optimize existing facility designs.

    HSE Objectives

    • Familiarize self with CLIENT emergency procedures and report to the Manager any incident, unsafe act or operation.
    • Carry out assigned duties safely according to CLIENT HSE procedures in such a manner to minimize / eliminate unsafe exposure to self or fellow workers.
    • Participate in Safety reviews (HAZID, HAZOP, Project reviews) when required
    • Be up to date with trainings and HSE certificates required for his/her activities and site visits (Medical Certificates, HUET)

    Job Requirements

    • B.Eng in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering (or equivalent).
    • 8+ years in Process Engineering Studies
    • Specialized in PROII, HYSIS and International standards

    ICSS Engineer

    Service Dimensions

    • Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to Project Leader.
    • Review of ICSS deliverables from EPIC contractor.
    • Respond to technical queries on the project.
    • Supervision of EPCI for the installation of the ICSS.
    • Participate in project technical workshops.

    Job Description

    • Design and specification of an integrated control and safety systems, this include; Control systems, Shutdown systems, Fire & Gas system, control and technical room layouts, networking systems, I/O Marshalling and Terminal Cabinets, power supplies, interposing relays etc.
    • Development and monitoring of technical document register for project deliverables
    • Be the leader on all instrumentation and control deliverables prepared by others
    • Response to Technical Queries during design and engineering phase
    • Participation in project technical reviews
    • Supervision of EPCI activities for the ICSS upgrade
    • Review Systems and packages hardware and software integration,
    • Participate in project interface management meetings.
    • Participation in SIT and SAT for ICSS
    • Site supervision during installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
    • Shall provide technical support to the Project Leader.

    Context And Environment

    • Production facilities modification for ICSS projects onshore and offshore within the affiliate.
    • Participate in project reviews, (PR’s, Project Close Workshops etc.
    • Permanent HSE and Quality challenges during the execution of the Services.

    Accountabilities

    • Ensure project is performed in line with project scope of requirements, CLIENT referential and applicable industry standards and codes.
    • Ensure effective and timely response to technical queries in compliance with company specifications and safety procedures.
    • Participate in Project Reviews, (PRs, Project Close Workshops, etc.)
    • Management of OEM’s and/or ICSS System Integrators to implement project scope while respecting procedures, quality, HSE, cost and schedule optimisation.

    Job Requirements
    Qualifications / Experience Required

    • B.Sc. / B.Eng.(Elec / Electronics Eng.) or Equivalent, Chartered Engineer with at least 10 years experience in Control systems design and installation.
    • Functional Safety Engineer TUV certified.
    • Must have experience in a similar ICSS role.
    • Working knowledge of YOKOGAWA (CENTUM VP) & SCHNEIDER (TRICONEX & TRIDENT) are compulsory. Must have a good knowledge of SA Codes, IEC Standards and relevant industry standards.
