    Business Development Officer

     SellOff.ng is one of the fastest-growing eCommerce platforms in Nigeria. We are building a young, passionate, and productive team working together to bridge the gap between vendors and customers. 
     We are looking for an ambitious and tech-inclined Business Development Officer to help us expand our clientele. This position is open to sales strategists who have what it takes to drive company sales by locating the right business opportunities and developing a growth strategy for SellOff.ng
     
     Job Description
     
     Drive company sales by locating business opportunities and developing strategies for closing business deals with potential clients. 

     Responsibilities

    • Develop a growth strategy that is focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Establish, develop, and manage a strong pipeline and attract new businesses. 
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
    • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
    • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
    • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
    • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

     Essential Requirements

    • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree/HND in business administration, sales, or relevant field
    • Proven working experience as a business development representative, sales    executive, or a relevant role, preferably in the tech industry
    • Proven sales track record
    • Desire to make a significant contribution to a fast-growing IT firm
    • Strong client relationship management skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Proficiency in English
    • Good knowledge of the Tech Market landscape 
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Good at drafting business proposals
    • Ability to build rapport and sell value
    • Time management and planning skills
    • Ability to work independently and meet set target
