    A Business Development Manager plans and oversees new marketing initiatives. He/she carries out research on organizations and individuals to find new opportunities. A BDM increases the value of current customers while attracting new ones

    Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

    • Developing growth strategies and plans
    • Managing and retaining relationships with existing clients
    • Increasing client base
    • Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
    • Identifying and mapping business strengths and customer needs
    • Researching business opportunities and viable opportunities
    • Implements marketing plans and works to meet sales quotas.
    • Track marketing and sales data and identifies areas of improvement.
    • Researches and develops various marketing strategies for products and services
    • Reporting on successes and areas needing improvements
    • think strategically - see the bigger picture and set aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
    • work strategically - carry out necessary plan in order to implement operational changes
    • Analyses trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies, and other information that can potentially improve marketing and sales performance
    • Creates and presents regular performance reports for managers and executives
    • Helps to interview, hire, manage, and direct members of the company's marketing and sales teams
    • Assigns specific employees to marketing and sales projects or client accounts as needed
    • Implements and adheres to company policies and procedures
    • Train team members, arrange external training where appropriate
    • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with team members/management
    • Seek ways to improve business operations
    • Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate for business growth
    • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world
    • Any other role assigned

    JOB SPECIFICATION/QUALIFICATION

    ●      Education Qualification:     

    ●      BSc/BA in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field

    Experience

     Proven working experience as a Sales, Marketer, Business Development Manager and relevant positions.

    KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:

    Functional/ Technical/ Competence Requirements:

    • Proven sales track record
    • Experience in customer support is a plus
    • Proficiency in MS Office
    • Market knowledge
    • Ability to manage complex project and multitask

    WORK CYCLE (HOURS/ DAYS):
