    Accounting and Finance Manager

    Department: Finance

    About the Job

    • Due to our current and continuous growth, we are looking for an Accounting professional who will be responsible for a number of accounting/finance functions and will be adding further value to our Nigerian Finance department.
    • Part of this role is also to facilitate the Company’s growth by scaling internal processes and focus on continuous optimization and automation.

    Responsibilities
    The Accounting and Finance Manager within his/her functions is expected to:

    • Daily transactions / reconciliations / settlements preparation and monitoring
    • Prepare daily reporting summaries and highlight irregular or unusual transactions
    • Maintaining invoices registry
    • Analysis of all settlement bank accounts to ascertain bank charges
    • Ensuring timely retrieval of all financial data required for reconciliations and settlements
    • Responsible for raising / reconciling payment of incoming invoices 
    • Reconciliation with the payments systems and alternative payment methods
    • Assistance to client support unit on financial/settlements matters
    • Opportunity to work on new projects to be implemented
    • Other ad-hoc associated tasks as assigned by the CFO / Country Head
    • Preparing reports for regulatory bodies
    • Escalate variances and gaps noticed in data and information obtained to the relevant people
    • Establish and maintain relationships with the banks’ relationship managers
    • Participate in monthly financial close activities including performance report preparation for group entities
    • Provide monthly analysis of costs and keep proper records of these costs for management reporting purposes
    • File tax returns for group entities and track tax compliance obligations across entities.
    • Provide audit support for group entities
    • Carry out any other assigned tasks for the purpose of preparing monthly management accounts.

    Requirements
    Your experience and mindset:

    • Minimum of 6 years finance experience
    • University Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Analytics or related field
    • Accounting / Bookkeeping knowledge (ACCA partly qualified) or close to qualified
    • Strong preference for chartered accountants
    • Fluency in English (preferably)
    • Excellent analytical skills and strong experience working with numbers
    • Efficient/organized
    • Ability to multitask
    • Team player
    • Committed and with a good eye for detail
    • Ability to work with tight deadlines in terms of the project and regulatory reporting 
    • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
    • Detail-oriented and excel at spotting patterns/trends and irregularities
    • Analytical and thorough, can be relied on to work with accuracy and effectiveness
    • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cause and effect and communicate results in an effective and structured manner

    • We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager for banking as a service solutions.
    • In this role you will operate in a global arena, driving the operational agenda on how to reach our defined targets.

    Responsibilities

    • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
    • Design, build and maintain a social media presence for our new product
    • Plan and manage the digital marketing budget for the project 
    • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)

    Requirements

    • A BS / MS Degree in Marketing or a related field
    • 6+ years of relevant work experience in digital marketing
    • Experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
    • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
    • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
    • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
    • BI expertise
    • English language knowledge - fluent
    • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
    • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ads campaigns
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.

    Legal Counsel

    • Unlimint is a holder of various regulatory permissions in the banking and payment industry in multiple regions, including Europe, Latin America and Asia. Further to that Unlimint is an active member of worldwide and regional payment card associations, alternative payment methods and networks. 
    • As a reflection of our continued growth on global market, we are hiring a new Legal Counsel to join our global legal team.
    • The main responsibility is to ensure comprehensive and ongoing in-house legal and related compliance coverage of Unlimint’s business in Nigeria and related interests in all locations where we operate or plan to work in, as well as in all business sectors of our interests.

    Responsibilities
    The Legal counsel within his/her functions is expected to:

    • Research and advise the relevant legal and compliance issues in Nigeria, as well as various jurisdictions and regions across Africa
    • Identify applicable requirements and ensure compliance with them
    • Structure and plan projects, deals, collaborations, applications etc 
    • Provide ongoing coverage and support for legal, compliance, business and operational purposes of various significance levels
    • Draft (create) agreements, templates, internal documents, procedures 
    • Draft & review agreements (including complex agreements, subject to special regulations)
    • Communication and cooperation with competent authorities including CBN etc.

    Requirements
    Your experience and mindset:

    • Law Degree is required
    • At least 5 years of diversified & broad legal experience as in-house lawyer in Nigeria, Africa, or International payments, fintech business
    • Experience in the payments industry, regulated businesses, e-commerce IT (Acquiring, Issuing, payment methods, neobank, banking), regulatory affairs, card schemes etc.
    • Experience in Nigerian and African regulatory matters 
    • Legal coverage of local & international projects (including ones that are subject to special regulations)
    • Experience in the companies with rapid growth 
    • Open mind to new ideas
    • Strong communication skills
    • Comfort with low and high level tasks
    • Flexible for startup environments
    • English (excellent communication skills).
