Account Officer at Howbury School

Howbury School is a family oriented Nursery, Primary and Secondary school located in a serene environment in Mende Maryland, Lagos. We are committed to raising global citizens while deploying 21st century teaching and learning techniques. 

Due to significant growth, we sek to hire an  Account Assistant to support in managing financial transactions. To be successful in this role, previous experience in book keeping will be an added advantage. 

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounting transactions
• Reconciliation of  Accounts payable and Receivable
• Handling of  budgets
• Manage balance sheets and prepare profit/loss statements
• Provide accurate information on financial position
• Other filing and administrative duties in the Accounts office

Requirements:

• OND Accounting
• Previous experience as an account clerk/ Assistant will be an added advantage
• Strong attention to details and good analytical skill
• Advanced MS Excel Skills
• Experience with accounting softwares
• Previous accounting experience
