SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties of the Project Field Coordinators will include:
Plan and implement all organization supported activities
Participate in all polio related meetings in the zone

Polioplus Nigeria assists The Rotary Foundation (TRF) in achieving its objectives in polio eradication in accordance with the established policies and goals of the Trustees.
The Committee:
Assist, obtains and submits to TRF an adequate and enforceable vaccine hold-harmless document from the Ministry of Health.
Maintains contact with key governmental business and community leaders to advocate the eradication of polio and achievements of the objectives of EPI and to inform them of Rotary’s PolioPlus activities and goals
Prepares a strategic plan for mobilization by the grants, coordinating such plans with other partners
Responds promptly to all International PolioPlus Committee (IPPC) requests for information, reports or advice.
Serves as spokesperson in the country for the Rotary PolioPlus Programs
Participates in regular meetings of national EPI groups and Interagency Coordinating Committees such as those comprised of Ministry of Health officials, UNICEF and WHO representatives and other supportive, relative or interested organisations
Plans activities to educate and motivate Rotarians to help mobilise communities for immunization and encourage Rotary clubs to involve other voluntary groups in support of immunization objectives
